In this small tutorial I explain how to update phpMyAdmin to the newest version.
First go to your xampp folder(Most of the time this will be C:\Xampp).
Now you are in your xampp folder, make a backup from the phpmyadmin folder.
Now you've made a backup you go download the newest phpMyAdmin from Sourceforge.(SourceForge.net: phpMyAdmin)
Extract it. Rename the folder to phpMyAdmin.
go to your old phpMyAdmin folder, copy the file 'config.inc.php' to your new phpMyAdmin folder.
Remove your old phpMyAdmin folder, not the backup folder.
Copy the new phpMyAdmin folder to your xampp folder. Test if it works.(http://localhost/phpmyadmin/)
If it works you can remove the backupfolder now.
Good Luck!
