Tibia in 3D - Opinions?

I think if it were to have a Diablo 2 look and feel it would be pretty cool but we all know that's never going to happen.

3D Isometric should be the future of tibia. does not have to render everything in complicated 3D graphics.

Minecraft Tibia would be awesome, but, imagine it having 200+ players with all the goodies that make Tibia, Tibia, you would have to have a Hardcore Server to run the damn thing.

I have been playing Tibia since 2003 and we used to connect to that bitch on Dial-up, you heard right, Dial-up! now days if you try to connect on dial-up to tibia, the server will kill you just for trying.

Tibia in one sense is falling, Tibia will only be sought out by oldschool gamers that long for those days, Cip's best strategy would be to recreate old tibia, with new server side systems while keeping that "oldschool" touch that we like on it.

I think they could get some players with advertising, I've never ever in my entire life seen a Tibia advertisement, if they just made some trailer or google advertising, anything that could get them some players, I found out about tibia via a friend, otherwise I would never know about it.

Yep, and it would benefit us as well. Newcomers would start playing tibia, find out its shit, and join the OT community.

Atleast state why it wouldn't work? Tibia not being 3D actually is a disadvantage for not growing. 3D tibia will be much more fun and RPGish. Nothing is impossible, nothing is hard, but your mind set and motivation for it to be completed is only not set making you think it is impossible or hard.

True, am not sure about everyone else but i heard about Tibia in school from a friend, who found it on Cnet Downloads (If am not mistaken was named differently back then) when looking for a new game he could play.

I've seen it on MMOhut etc, but most of those review sites really don't do it justice tbh.
