show your maps here Mapping Showoff, make a thread named Massri's mapping thread.
Show pictures of your maps, if people think you are good enough then they may ask to buy some stuff, I've sold a few maps in my time, I have made atleast 600$ now from selling maps, I don't really sell maps anymore, though if someone messages me about buying one, I'll consider it :P

I am interested in seeing your maps though so make a thread where I said too :P
 
Serious tips: be respectful to members and it'll almost guarentee the favour being returned. Ignore the trolls, and most of the mods are laid back dispite what pm7b said. Welcome to the forum anyway (: aslong as you don't feed the trolls you should be fine (:

There are alot of helpful members here (though, if you ask to be spoonfed you wont get anything.) too many people here expect others to do all the work. So just keep in mind that if you show you have tried, you will more than likely be helped.

Why don't you join the otland mapping competition. Keep your entry quiet tho. It is a good way to get your face out in the community, and show off some mapping skills :) also it's a good theme this month! Check it out in the mapping showoff -> contests -> august thread. I can't provide link because on my phone :)

2. If you create a thread asking for help with open-tibia, you might as well not bother making a thread, since the mods will delete it for no reason.
3. I noticed you said you are still reading the rules, well, half the mods use something called "unwritten rules". This means if you do something correctly, but the mods want to ban you, they say that it was not written down because its "common sense"

1. Most of the complaints threads are about people whining to infractions that they deserved.
2. Your threads wont get deleted if you follow the rules, remember the addendum #5 of the OtLand Rules
3. Unwritten rules are those who are obvious, some members feel smart when trying to do things that are obviously wrong in OtLand.

Also, sorry for not intrudicing my self..
I'm Bogart (Adrian or Panda or anything, I don't really mind), welcome to OtLand.
I hope you enjoy your time in OtLand, a big part of the community are trolls, just don't mind them and report their posts if you feel offended or if you feel the posts are wrong.
