If you honestly think we make cash on this (profit) then please tell me how. Last server (Faloria) is more lost money then gained, and we still keep it online. We are very strict with this being a non-profitable community (all we want is money for the host), and that is very clear when you see that we only offer one donation option, which you can play very much without, no items, no exp etc. If we wanted to make money we would sell runes, items and exp from the shop.
There are plenty of more additions to the Golden Account then shared exp for partys (go back and read main post for more info).
why here over tibianic / realots ?

Because Faloria was a huge fucking disaster. You worked with Realsoft before, which just fucked up your reputation so hard.
This looks like an almost identical server to Faloria, with some tiny changes. There's not much you can change with a 7.4 Real Map server.
If you want your server to succeed you have to do something different, something new. People love the client (7.4), but people dislike the fact that there's absolutely nothing to hunt once you reach a decent level (which takes a few days on your server).
* Expand the map. New monster/areas to explore. Especially for higher levels.
* Proxies
* Stable Servers
* New quests.
Are just a few ways to make your server special, and there for unique.
Insanity is when someone repeats the same shit over and over again expecting different results.
The fact that I worked with Realsoft/Mikael/Erik is really irrelevant, no one knew what he was going to do and to blame me or Znote for it is just retarded.
The launch of Faloria was indeed a disaster. Why? Because we had alot more players then expected logging in at once. We had planned on 50-60 people perhaps coming back, instead we hit 120-130, and a massive amount of DDoS. A few days later though, everything was fixed and the server has ever since ran smoothly.
Regarding server stability Ive already explained that we are having a new team member that is daily working with C++ and is CEO of a very respected hosting company. I Think that sais more then enough regarding our stability.
Adding new areas, monsters and quests is not an option. You will also notice if you take time to read the thread that we are planning on having a proxy.
Perhaps you should also keep in mind where all successful 7.4 servers got all their ideas from originally. But who can replicate it the best, if not the original creators of them?

Amoaz btw the golden account features aren't even worth 10 cents lol How about this. you make up a "lottery type" game where ONCE per week a RANDOM Golden Account will WIN 1-10CC... (random amount of cc given not exactly 1 or 10 but anywhere in between and make grant it to the highest level character on that account and broadcast the characters name on the website) and maybe make a special bonus system like once someone has reached 50 CC they can exchange it for ONE day of golden account?

There is no need to buy the Golden Account if you dont like the features, since the server is completely playable without it. (You got a free Premium Account)
And thats what we like about it. Some people dont want to spend time doing postman quest, djinn quest etc, some people love to have that light without carrying a torch at all times, others dont. We dont want to force anyone to spend a single cent on our server and has therefor made it free to play. For those who are interested and perhaps dont have as much time as others to complete those quests, can simply buy it.
And no, I wont add a lottery where Golden Account players can win money.

I have nothing against you either, but claiming we cannot do something because one of us stated that it is not part of our plans, is simply ludacris. Especially for something as simple as a random give-away. Regardless, it gave me a good chuckle.

Just got back home to Sweden this morning. The development can now start for real and I will very soon update this thread with some more specific information about what we are doing.

I hate ur idea with staged exp = a lot of noob 20lvl pk + what is the point of having exp rate below 2 after 100lvl? In my opinion lowest exp rate should be 3. Also whole exp stage should be lowered for example 8-20 exp 10, 20-50 exp 7, 50-70 exp 5, 70-xxx exp 3
