Maybe the orbs could drop periodically, containing the same amount of exp you've earned over the last X minutes, to save having to pick up 20 orbs a minute?

would also be cool if it had a chance to contain an extra piece of loot or two as well, to make manual hunting even more appealing,
like in diablo - kill a elite/champion > get rare loot (or a goblin!)

Sounds like a freaking nice system, makes the non-task spawns even more appealing :D

i really like the idea, being a manual player myself, hope it gets implemented soon !

we've only just started farming D1, no where near ready for D2! :O

we need a tank with at least 3-4k Power level for D2 and a team of 3k+ DPS
buy yeah, they're hp will need balancing before we attempt it, but i dont see us trying D2 for a few days at least
 
me and kenia can do it in about 7 hours from when the server starts, my guild will be ready :), its gonna be hard as fuck, and probably gonna fail, but i know d2 like the back of my hand, i know the best spots to hide, and block from too.....

@ xagul, how about some stuff like in dzot's " mystery boxes" dropping stuff for people like the weapons there.. well something special, or exp stuff, you have to walk above to loot it, if no space in EQ you will have it teleported into your dp? :) i like this more than a few exp once in a while( i dont think it will have a high rate?, ) i would like my idea a littlebit more
 
Shadow spells are pretty balanced, arent they the highest dps on higher levels?
 
Honestly it'd look stupid everything you kill drops an orb. How does having exp orbs drop random become a conspiracy from botters to keep manual preferred players down? If the manual player goes for an orb it is still a bonus from the exp they received.

I think it should be random but the amount of exp orbs dropped from a creature should also be random like 1-3. Like a real reward.. you would be excited if exp dropped like you would be if a good piece of gear dropped.

This. I also like the idea someone said about having a chance of getting one or two extra pieces of loot, or being able to either drop an orb exp or a "mystery box" or something like that containing some RANDOM (not necessarily rare) item. That'd encourage manual hunting a lot.

Again, a really great idea.
 
when is the host gonna fix theyre godamn shit, taking 2 days to fix a hardware issue is just un-acceptable by all standards, how hard is it to swap out a dodgy ram stick or change a faulty wire or to swap the host to a different machine until its fixed, im assuming its a Paid-for Dedicated machine thats hosting it? so why are they fucking about for 2 days with theyre fingers up they're arses :/
 
did xagul even say when is it coming online? or we can just assume that it will be soon
