Yes it says something about cannot connect to sql database, cant see it all it just comes up error then shuts down directly

I follow your steps all the way up until I import the forgottenserver.sql file into my otserv database on pvpmyadmin and when i try to load my server is says
ERROR: Failed to connect to database, read doc/MYSQL_HELP for information or try SQLi

You need to write correct mysql details. Also sometimes localhost is fucked up, if thats the case create a user with IP 127.0.0.1 instead of localhost.

Try another distribution or import the custom tables that OT is using.

This video will help you get started and get a working environment. But there is still alot to learn.
 
can you help me please? I try to run the server and it opens for 2 seconds gives an error and then goes away before I can read the error can anyone help?
 
When i try to log in on the website this comes up Warning: mysql_result() expects parameter 1 to be resource, boolean given in C:\Viktigt\htdocs\engine\function\users.php on line 1333
and when i trying to make a account :(
and this comes up too Unknown column 'name' in 'field list'

2. When you change a characters position to god, his cap will be set to 0. Where in the php's can I change this?


3. You can also only put capital letters in the second spacing at $config['site_title'] in the config.php. If you remove the second line alltogether, the entire header disappears.

You can disable IP verification in config.php.

It is a program created by windows that occupies port 80 on windows servers.

Just google how to uninstall/stop it with your operating system.

1: Use the correct LUA scripts, you can find them in the LUA folder on znote aac. (You might have to use script in alternative folder).
2: That sounds like a community manager not a god, perhaps config.php is missing Senior Tutor rank?
3: That is a layout issue. But yeah I will fix it on the default template.
 
Hello guys, I'm facing a very strange behavior while trying to boot-up my OT server using instead of sqlite(default) using mysql... I'm following this tutorial and my OT serv bootup fine with sqlite but when I change to connect to mysql database it just collapse it self, the application closes it self after trying to load items, and I can't even see if there is any Error Message in console... see the picture:

this is my configuration that dont let me bootup the ot:

somehow there are no NPC's at rookgard nor anywhere in my OT Mystic Spirit... any idea why???

hello i have a problem with the game is part of special folder localhost / special gives me such a thing You do not have permission to access / on this server special ..
 
I'm bored and looking through OtLand, but when I'm going to watch this video, your microphone sound is really low, I have max on both YouTube and my computer, I usually have to lower the sound on YouTube for some, just saying... Higher your microphone sound :)
