so i was playing as usual my own server to test if things were okay, i was the only person only like always and out of nowhere this guy comes and says hey are you the administrator ? i said no o.0 but i was, he then said im going to hack the website and give you points :), i said good luck with that, then 5 mins later he said wow this administrator doesnt know how to protect his website he said i gave u 1000 points go buy stuff at shop, he then said im going to make myself administrator, i said lies lol, he then after like 4 mins told me wow group 6 here is not god maybe is 5, thats where i got really scared, i checked my phpmyadmin database i checked the player table and everybody changed from group id 1 to 6 lmao i then shutdown my server and stoped apache and mysql from xamp and uninstalled all services :((((( what are some stuff i can fix to prevent people from hacking me?

If you use xampp you must have lastest version and before installing gesior acc you have to secure it with new password in http://localhost/security/index.php
In htdocs there is xampp folder if you delete it you wont be able to open this page.

Xampp is still not safe to use, I have never had an issue but I know alot of others that have.
Better to go with a linux hosted server, use lighttpd or nginx.
Having a safe password is true, but also not using root can help.

On windows go with uniformserver (installed it to alot of ppl and never heard of any issues) or nginx.

hey wibeenz i installed uniformserver and almost everything worked as it should, the problem is that when someone creates an account, after they click submit they wait for like 30 secs and then they get a blank page but the account is still created, how can i fix this? i dont get any errors

seems like there's no page they are being redicted to after they register. Did you use a clean gesior2012?

Things to check:
Uniform server: is it updated, did you install it properly?
Server: is the firewall on? Long shoot but still.
Router: are the ports setup correctly?

i installed correctly i followed a tutorial that was made by some guy znote, my firewall is on is that the problem? i have ports 7171, 7172, 80, 8090 opened, i have 8090 because people cant go to my website using 80 :((( so they have to do this servername,no-ip.biz:8090

They can be limited, depends on the router.
Firewall can be a problem, try to turn it off and see if it works better.
