It's your DNS that may take time to change, try to follow these steps I posted and it may refresh faster.

We have just moved an server to our another dedicated to be sure, that it won't be killed again!
We have also transfered our domain to another IP Address which could don't work for some, to get it reload fast please:

Go to Start and open CMD then:

1. Type "ipconfig /flushdns" and press Enter.
2. Type "ipconfig /registerdns" and press Enter.
3. Type "ipconfig /release" and press Enter.
4. Type "ipconfig /renew" and press Enter.

The truth is that your server is very new/or is not good/fun enough in terms of gameplay/community/support as otherwise people would have played. It is that simple.

But yes, you would for sure get more players with a proper advertisement, that is true. But it is not by any means required to have an otservlist ad in order to get players.

Sure, it's very possible. I can see that coming yes. I never denied that advertising was a bad thing, it certainly helps. If you want to further discuss it or disagree, do it in the other thread or PM so we won't go off topic.
