Otland has a API that uses OAuth, you will have to contact @Mark to get client & secret, he will need info like return url after auth and the project name.

I am sure @Chris can release hes otland auth package to the public if there is any interest in it.
Yeah, I'm more than happy to release my OtLand OAuth2 PHP package if anyone wants it.
That would be great.

Update!
  • Added client 10.94 and 10.95 to the client list.
  • Design changes.
  • Changed the first page to view all servers instead of category information.
  • Added a box to show newly added servers (max 5).
  • Removed the old signatures and added new images as signatures, Thanks to @Shadowsong.
  • Possible to download the client requried for servers with standard clients directly from the information page.
  • Updated the add server page, to make it even more simple to add a server.
  • Changed name of the category Evolution Servers to Teleport Servers.
  • Added a text that says when the servers in the serverlist was updated.

Looking for feedback and suggestions on new festures, comment any features you would like to see.

Changed the first page to view all servers instead of category information.
+1

I suggest to change the font/color for "non-buttons": Client, Category, EXP
I rly had to squint to see what is written on them. Maybe its ok on other devices.
But not trough my widescreen laptop.

Can your website ping the server itself and determine by the result is the server online or offline?
If its offline, automatically replace the online count(players category) with text: offline or something.

If the server is offline the player count is changed to 0 and the server will also be invisible from the list.

Possible to post a video as server-information? That would be nice.. should be rather simple right, to let whoever adds a server embed a youtube-vid?

Those rectangles' colors have already been changed. It's much better than it was before so it seems fine for me, maybe just the text could be thicker in them.

It could be nice to provide ckeditor for Description - to allow owners of the servers to make it even more beautiful.

Not my place writing in this thread, but thanks for the idea...
This is horribly disgusting. Probably not your intent, but you're basically advertising your own competitor in HalfAway's thread. At least have the decency to create your own thread.

If you were given permission to post in here by HalfAway, please do accept my apology, but it wasn't directly apparent by your post.

fine then....

You simply don't come into thread of someone's work where people suggest him ideas and you don't say thank you for the idea for his project, I'll use it on mine.

That's plain stupid among with advertising project of the same kind on the thread.

Working together.. so every OT server should work together? Isn't it every owner's intention to have highest player/user base?

I didn't mean anything bad about it, and since when did OTs-List sites became enemies to greedy hate each other?
Isn't it better to just accept there are more than one, and encourage it? or should it be monopoly on these kind of sites that one one site should have all the power?

IMO, if there's just 1 site with OT-Servers.. it will feed corruption, scamming and spoofing.
If there's more, a site acting bad will be less attractive.

And last, more sites, will push each other to keep making them better and better.
I have nothing against HalfAway, he's a cool guy, and basically I just feed the idea to him, I took an idea of a person, made it into a fully understood idea and feed it right back to his own thread, so now he can check what I did, and grow his own ideas about it how he came make it fit for his website.

@HalfAway Say the word, and I'll delete my posts from your thread if you think like Chris, that it's disgusting to sharing work/ideas within these kind of threads.

I mean, it's not like we're two different OT's trying to make donations from players.
We're here to make sure monopoly doesn't go too long with these kind of sites.

If I were in charge of everything, I'd have all OTs-lists work together instead.
Don't get me wrong, sharing is caring and I'm all for it, but to outright advertise your own project in someone else's advertisement thread is the disgusting part, not the fact that you were inspired and brought an idea to life. That's great, in fact, I'm sure someone will benefit from it and I wish you and your project all the best, but not going about it this way. I don't mean to stir up some drama over this, so this will be my last response on the matter.

Any chance you could add a feature where it would show the date the server was released/added to the list? I love to try out new and fresh servers.
This is a feature I wish otservlist would have.

When the server is added date to the list already exists.

The release date would that be something you can set as a user?
When a new era releases for example?

I know that if you click on the server you'll be able to see when it was added, but it means I have to individually click on each server to see when it was added.
But if there was a category like there is for Map, Client, and Exp it would make it easier. Just a suggestion though. :)
