6k that's how much a good ots holds lol!!! :D
It's because many ots allow botting etc. Mostly these 6k is either botters or people home playing because they have no work or school. Now it's 9,7k online on real tibia because the "normal" work hours is almst over.

are seriously bashing them for not having players? they made open tibia possible also tibia existed for 20 years of course popularity of the game will decrease
Not necessarily. Had they not made a bunch of bad moves there'd be a fair chance that they would've increased instead of decreasing their player-base.

This is true.

Tibia was basically 90% of people that enjoyed the open free environment where you could do whatever you want, and 10% were players that wanted the skull system, training to be removed, cheaper blessings, and lower death-loss.

Even PewDiPie (who I hate) made a video called "Best Game Ever!" where he describes the days he played tibia, but then suggests that NO ONE play the current tibia, because it is terrible.

Cipsoft listened to the 10%, and lost 90% of their players.

Couldn't have said it better. Cip decided that catering to n00bs was the correct play, and we're now seeing the consequences. That plus their eternal struggle with cheaters and their failed ways of dealing with them (i.e. modifying the gameplay with things like auto-training, stamina, soul points, light hack, aimbot instead of spending a few bucks on dedicated personnel whose only job is to monitor the servers for cheaters).

You can say it was "Catering to Noobs" but honestly this wasn't exactly it.

The Creators had a passion for creating Tibia in the beginning, they were creating a game they wanted to play.

Now, either the Creators no longer care, or someone else is working on Tibia.
The new developers have a different goal. "We need more players, how can we get more players?"

If your job is to make a video game. You design copy-pasted crap that attempts to attract the most people.
If your passion is to make a video game. You create something YOU want to see, and who cares if no one plays it, you are creating something YOU want.

Then creating a video game pointless

No, it isn't.

Just because you don't care if anyone plays it, does not mean no one will play it.

I do not care if anyone plays my servers. I make the kind of game I want to play.
If a game is fun to me, then most likely it will be fun to other people.

Let's say instead of making video games, I built houses.
Every day I went out and tried to build the coolest houses I could think of. I don't care if people buy my houses, I just enjoy making them

People will still buy the houses I make, it doesn't matter if I care or not, what matters is the quality of house you build.

Cipsoft and its depression

You call it “depression”, They call it strategic decision.
CipSoft is just like Piranha Bytes - the authors of Gothic series. Small, mostly unknown, developing team from Germany who decided to develop more niche games or low budget games, because They have their own pretty old technology and apparently not that many people with skills necessary to create modern engine or at least operate one. Maybe in long run They don’t want to make and sustain bigger (more advanced) game. If instead of their own 2D graphics, They have third-party company or contract worker to make their new sprites, then its more about willingly limiting the size of company and subsequently the playerbase of their game.
No one will buy them out, no one will cooperate with them. They can either slowly lose the playerbase or straight away shut down the company and find the new job.

Couldn't have said it better. Cip decided that catering to n00bs was the correct play, and we're now seeing the consequences.
This is kinda bullshit argument. Games like TF2, CoD or Overwatch are simplistic piece of code made for “nOObs”, people with ADHD and in general for people who don’t like to think to much about strategy – no offense to anyone, just saying.
Tibia is just ugly. We are humans, biological beings and our eyes evolved to look at moving stuff, colorful stuff, stuff full of details. Tibia is losing because, Tibia looks like game from early 2000s in late 2010s. So called “nOOBs” are ordinary people who enjoy simple games with simplistic gameplay, not “dad-games” like ArmA, Insurgency or Squad and ordinary people like to look at pretty things, not pixelated piece of shit.

When I said "catering to n00bs", I was talking purely about gameplay mechanics. My definition of n00b is a player (not necessarily a newbie) who in addition to certain undesirable behaviors, is an absolute crybaby who complains about everything. And Cip loves listening to them because they think that by doing so they will attract a great number of new players to Tibia (ignoring the fact that most of their real "core" players greatly dislike those changes).

Examples:
- n00b complains about the harsh death penalty because he died => Cip greatly reduces the death penalty and introduces the new blessings
- n00b complains about being killed "unjustly" => Cip introduces the new pvp system
- n00b complains about dying to a lured monsters => Cip introduces anti-luring system
....

And well, I could go on and on with the list.

Its mainly because for outfits and such you have to buy them (well the strange cool ones anyways) where you not just buy premium anymore you buy everything even potions!

It's not what CipSoft did to their game that drove players away, it's that Tibia is over 20 years old now and games are 100x better than Tibia so people would rather go play those instead. Tibia at it's prime was a bot-infested nightmare with massive issues surrounding player-hunting, guild wars, and race wars. For those that played during this time (2003-2009) the game changed not due to new features but due to the attitudes of the players. I remember when large guild wars based on nationality became about who could control the best farming areas, and the side that lost essentially was forced to stay within safe zones. I remember when it used to be 3 guys coming to hunt you down because you killed their botting friend, then it became 5 guys, then 10. Eventually if someone in an opposing guild saw you outside of a safe zone, you had 20 people chasing after you within 30 minutes. That was cool and all, but that's not what it should have been about.

The most fun I ever had in Tibia was on Calmera, a non-pvp server. My favorite moments are not from wars, battles, or other pvp-encounters, but the human interaction with people who embraced their in game character and put the role-playing in RPG. Questing was fun, interesting, and always a new experience, whereas grinding just to keep up with pvp botters really ruined the experience. I've followed the updates CipSoft have added and the amount of content in this game is just mind-blowing, but that content became so hard to reach due to other players.

People above blame the games decline on CipSoft catering to new players, but in all honestly that probably helped keep a lot of people around. Tibia was a great example of how regular-interval content updates keep players around, because despite tons of "community backlash" in response to their plans Tibia was always more populated in the months leading up to new content and a couple after it's release, because the developers were active and new information was frequently released. People will often say that CipSoft adding hotkeys ruined Tibia, and that statement is totally false. Without hotkeys regular players would have been unable to compete with people using macros and bots, which despite having a clear advantage was actually not all that significant until their sophistication increased to the point where pvp essentially required one.

Okay, but do you have any reasonable data about numbers of "real core players" who didn't like noob-friendly changes and left the game? Because you cannot just assume that all of those players who played tibia between 2000-2010, were real core players who decided to leave the game.
Like I said: Tibia is losing because, Tibia looks like game from early 2000s in late 2010s.
