What are the most used features / pages on OT websites?

Hi,
I've decided to create a fast, clean and robust "acc maker" for open tibia servers (yes, yet another one).

Please list one or more feature or a page of any OT website (preferably high capacity server examples) and describe briefly - why you picked those features / pages.

Example feature or page would be:

• Achievements
• Last deaths
• Quest makers
• Powergamers
• Houses

Those are the sections that most (if not all) websites have got.

This thread is simply to help me determine which part I should focus on first while writing the code.

For those that are interested in more, it will be released as open source software at GitHub and most likely will be a SPA (single page application - kind of website that doesn't reload the whole page as usual).


Side note: couldn't make a appropriate poll for this, cause of limit of answers.

When I play some server, the most important information for me is if the house is available, I don't really care about the rest.

Being able to see who your last victim was used to be on 8.6 servers which was also nice.
If you don't know what I mean check out the thread here Gesior 2012 TFS 1.2 Character.php (frag list) So you could see a characters deaths and under it the last kills he made.

I know what you mean That's a great idea too, whenever I had an OT or was helping with one, I've always modified character page a lot, added some graphs etc.

I would say Account Management page is most important. Changing email, password, creating characters, deleting characters, etc. Also, highscores and view character are a must-be.

That is also very true. Most of the websites had no verification of any kind for the forms that were used in there.

Look at DevAAC: GitHub - DevelopersPL/DevAAC: DevAAC for TFS 1.0, it has SPA on frontend and REST API on backend. Maybe it'll be a good option to use it instead of creating a new one?

It's using Angular which is not suitable for me, plus I don't know Angular.

Though, it's great to take some notes as how the project was made.

Nobody use it anyway, people just open account and play.... oh sometimes they check who is online and highscores
