It's been good for the most part, lots of ups and downs but I wouldn't trade it for the world. Only thing I wish I could have done was stay more involved here, but I think that time has come and gone. It makes me emotional to think about but this game was a huge part of my life for a very long time, it's end for me was sudden and mostly out of my control. To see the state of these forums, the official game, and the private servers makes me appreciate all the work everyone here has put in over the years keeping it alive. It's amazing what people here have done.

Only so many 'old guard' left eh?

A few a still around on some of the discord servers etc but yeah definitely not as much. Great to see you're still alive though xD
 
@Peroxide Hi, don't get me wrong please, this is just my opinion, what's the point in having something so beautiful locked away from the world? I think it's just like food art, I feel sad knowing people make food art just to showoff and then throw away the food without anyone eating it :(
I'm not saying you should release it to the public but maybe give it to a friend for a good use, I feel that's better than just save it in some folder after it's finished, but like I said in the beginning this is just my opinion :p

Anyways, your work looks splendid as always, 5 stars :)
 
while a part of me agrees with that, another part brings me regrets when I see used neon pieces with copy / paste on maps without much quality. the difference of maps becomes very apparent and is not usually done nor a transition from the general map to the pieces of good authorship.

The township is done, or at least a small part of it, it could definitely be expanded but this town was never intended to be a big city or anything like that, rather it is just a hideaway village with a pirate setting, set in the hills of a Caribbean island

The island in my opinion is definitely fit for pirates, but I lost motivation of where the island was heading (paths to different areas etc all just seemed to track back to one place for me, the town, I generally lose interest in a project/idea when this happens.)​

Whilst this looks pretty awesome tbh and I love the atmosphere created here; absolutely nailed the hidden cove theme btw, I feel that the gate goes nowhere.. I'm presuming there is an area south to get there but it would be a weird structure for the city to point the gate this way if that were the case.. (just nit picking here).

Mountain setting looks boss

Yes the gate goes nowhere and no matter where you are at the moment it all leads back to the city, was trying to lead away from that with the west gate exit but couldn't figure out where. Was thinking some kind of Jungle (Port Hope/Ankrahmun) kind of theme but never really worked on it, though I'm interested to see in what people do with the release and how it improves.
