On my screen it looks like the image quality is a bit blurry. Anyways I like it very much. Some details are a bit off but the scenery/feeling is awesome!

I however think you have the right idea @jonanec, i think it it could be better mapped but the idea is kind of awesome.. with another theme i think it could match the cyclops feeling.
