Best "Pokemon Tibia" server?

Pokexgames is not paytowin it has its diamond shop but most things except vip is non influential in the game. It becomes paytowin in older servers where diamonds exchange rate is too high but they released a new sever some weeks ago. the first day diamonds worth nothing like 500dls each diamond.

VIP isn't the most influential thing in the game. I'd pay 2x or 3x the monthly value if they removed most of the game-changing diamond features. At first you just needed to pay to fly, surf and teleport. Then they started adding more things paid only via irl money: bless, ditto/shiny ditto, evolution items (to evolve tyrogue for example), crafting rank level up items, etc. You're basically coerced into spending a lot of money to get a decent team (specially shinies, who are extremely rare to catch).

The worst part of them all is bless, dying in that game is super easy, and it's obvious that they design the game around the idea of that. Quests mostly feature 1-hit-kill enemies, randomly spawning bosses in Phenac which also WILL kill you easily and there isn't much you can do to avoid them other than praying. Just like regular Tibia, dying is a huge setback and it makes playing that game a chore where you're essentially wasting hours of your life for each death, with the cherry on the top being that the only way to reduce the setback (not even avoid it completely, just reduce it) is by paying real money.

You couldn't have said it any better. I've played so many Pokemon servers over the years, including PxG (multiple times). PxG is for sure the most polished and "best" one to play if you want a serious server, but everything you said about is true. Sad thing is that you won't really ever find a successful or popular Pokemon server that will be without those p2w options.

That and as much as having a p2w currency (diamonds) sucks, it does improve the economy and add an extra currency that can be traded around for various things. Since it is a currency you buy with real money, then it becomes p2w or pay-to-progress. I would still much rather pay 2x or 3x the monthly value without any other p2w options and know everyone is on the same playing field. There are cash cows for any game you play and you know there will be people who beg for the option to spend thousands of dollars to be the best.

bullshit, if you know how to play you can easy just buy 1 month DACC and farm money, levels so easy, currently you have 2387948932 ways to get easy money there, dungeons, nightmare, outland, quests etc. i dont know any h lvl who is buying bless plus for diamonds paying real cash, ofc you can spend $ to buy diamonds to buy pokemons, but whats the point? It completly killing point of this game, you can easy farm money and catch shinys by your own or buy some from the market. You can drop a lot of rare items and sell them for big money, you dont event need to catch any rare shiny.

Also, its easy to die in any game where monsters can attack you. you just need to be fast enough to change pokemon or use revive to survive. Or play smart and do not rush into 10 enemies where your pokemon can die in 3 seconds if u're not sure that you can survive.

This argument of "it's not pay to win, you can just spend 10000 hours farming money instead of paying real cash" is so stupid to me. It's pay2win because everything in that game revolves around real life cash. You gotta make it a second job for you if you want to get anywhere. You can't catch shinies by your own, there are people who have been hunting for certain shinies for YEARS and haven't caught them, you gotta be extremely lucky to get a good one. Even if you can buy diamonds with in-game money, it doesn't change the fact that someone is paying for them, so yes, it's still real money for bless, which is inexcusable. It drives the price of diamonds sky high and anyone who isn't high level will have to pay real money so they don't have to spend all their in-game money everytime they die. I don't want to make this game a second job for me, I don't want to have to farm hours of money and exp back just for one death. And as I said it, they make it so deaths are super unfair because for every death, they gain money from it.

Honestly I just hope that one day their source code is leaked so people can actually do something similar easily. It's sad as fuck that all ot bases for poketibia are awful and incomplete. I mean, even regular Tibia OTs don't take much to incorporate new content from global.

I enjoyed my time on PxG, but yeah it is definitely P2W, and honestly I don't mind having to pay some to play a good quality game, But as an American player it seemed the diamonds were super expensive, A Brazilian friend was explaining how much cheaper the diamonds were in native currency. Also just the lack of any english speaking players turned me away as I couldn't find many friends or people to hunt with etc. Got to around lvl 160 I think, died like 100 times at outland lol, also shinies are impossible to catch, but the RNG of trying was pretty fun for a while. Great game, Just wish it was a little more friendly to people from other countries!

Well the problem with that is if it got released, way to many people would be trying to put up an unprofessional server to try and make some quick money. It would become filled with worse versions of the current PxG. No professional team would completely eliminate P2W factors because they know they need it to succeed and make money whether for personal gain or server costs.

That was a huge a problem for me as well, there was little to no support for English speaking players in terms of the forum, tournaments and other various aspects of the game. I know there were people that can speak English, but it isn't their native language and overall 99% of the server is filled with non-Americans. I mean I guess it makes sense that they don't cater to English speaking players when their American player-base is non-existent.

For sure man, but they could have a much larger playerbase, if they made it a little friendlier for other countries, instead of just brazil. Pokemon is big in america and probably in many other countries. Not many good projects made in the states anymore unfortunately

Well, this already happens. The servers that people put online are completely messed up because the open source projects that exist are poorly balanced, buggy, and lack 99% of content/features that PxG has. At least if someone were to release their source code, more quality servers could come.

I think that there will be just even more shitty servers but with PxG content. If someone cannot create good quality server then even if the base is fine all new features will be poorly created and uncompleted.

ofc you can catch shiny, you have dungeons now so its much easier, and u complain about grind lol, every tibia based game is grind based, if its not then it would be boring and too casual. U complain about p2w, every game where you can trade items you can buy things for real cash, and hows that p2w? The only reason would be tournaments, where you need good pokemons to have a chance, but in last stage tournaments even with full shiny team you have low chance to win, cuz there are ppl who fight in h tier tournament years and know every weakness of your pokemons.
Your idea to play the game is just stupid, you want to spend 2 hours per day, do not spend any money and have a chance to fight with players who spend 5 or 10 hours per days in pxg, or even spend real $ lol. As i said this is not casual very casual game, but it's not p2w. There are still ppl who enter every new server, play for a month or 2 to earn $ and world trade 1:2 or 1:3 to server they normal playin.
Whats more, you wish to leak pxg code to someone open easier server just cuz you cant play lol, you wish someone to steal their work just cuz of that? rly? wake up man.

That p2w crying is like you would cry cuz league of legends is p2w because you NEED TO SPEND REAL MONEY TO BUY NEW CHARACTERS, it doesnt matter that you can farm currency ingame and buy that, but OTHER PPL CAN STILL BUY CHARACTERS FOR REAL CASH and the only reason you have 0/11 is cuz OTHER PPL SPENT MORE MONEY FOR SKINS AND CHARACTERS.

So as i said, in pxg you can easy farm your first shiny, even with your clan shiny whats is very easy to obtain playing casual a few weeks you can exp on every normal / outland exp or go dungeons. You don't need any top tier shiny to do it, if you die with your trash pokemon you will die with tier 1 shinys too.

That's exactly what p2w is lol. Make your game inherently grindy so people are coerced into paying hundreds because it's the only other alternative to farming money 10 hours a day. League of legends is one of the most cancerous games out there so I'm not sure why anyone would defend it.

Nope. This case imho is about skill. If you farm some points (IP?) in let's say a week, then you can buy a character and use it forever... You don't need to spend money to play, you can't buy the advantage.

@Perun
All games w/ premium accounts (allowing you to access new locations, faster regen or better spells) are somehow P2W or at least at the very beginning when you are not able to collect money for them in game (but then someone else has to pay real $ for your PACC, so...). Also premium shops with high grade items (like s. ditto) or even regular items (like SD/pots) are making the game P2W.

Sometimes these items are extremely expensive and available JUST over the premium shop like mentioned s. ditto which is about 350 diamonds... it is equal to 3 years of premium account and gives you really big advantage over the rest. The game is just encouraging you to buy stuff for real $, not allowing to buy all of these things for ingame currency and giving the advantage.

What about premium stamina? You are simply progressing faster as you pay.

I havent played in a while but diamonds were very cheap for US players. It was like 15 diamonds for $5. with that you get a month and in a standard server over 600k in in-game money. If you compare their minimum wage to ours and do the the currency conversion, US players have a big advantage.

As a coder this enrages, Tibia King has an huge base for this game the problem there is no people dedicating time and working in making something good as PXG did. The information is out there, the lack of hard working people is missing.

I can't remember exactly, but It seemed a shiny ditto costed around 300-400 USD. Which is kinda steep for me, It seemed almost every one had one though, and pretty much every single time I hunted, I lost money. So not exactly sure on money making methods. I made a bit from my stylist skill making clothes or whatever but it was miniscule compared to price of a good poke. Ahh I do think about PxG from time 2 time, Had a lot of fun there. By the time it was done I actually did spend around 400 bucks on it I would say, but I got a lot of time invested.

I agree with you in this but...

I agree with @No_Syntax about the currency advantage. I lived in Sao Pablo and played pokexgames a lot and i mean a lot since the first 2 servers launched. These days it has some kind of pay to win gameplay but i dont see it as pay to win. Their standard salary is around $3-4 an hour and the average montly salary in the capital is around $700 and I mean average. If you have an account you can see how much they pay for diamonds with each payment method. They pay 1 real for each diamond that is around $.20 cents for each one. If you use US currency you pay $5 for 15 that = .33 cents for each one. The US standard hourly rate ranges from $8 to $15 in some states. So yeah...

And I dont know what game you were playing unless you are playing like you are rich and you are using a revive each time you use your moves... Pokexgames hunting and looting is very profitable. The market business is great too and the golden arena rocks for money. AND when you are lvl 200+ even using a max revive each time you use your moves in outlands is profitable.

Yeah perhaps I didn't hunt correctly, I can't really remember. It's been so long now. I remember hunting meganiums a lot in outland. I remember it took 1800 ultra balls to catch a Electabuzz(major waste lol). It was a game worth supporting regardless, I can't imagine the effort involved in developing it. I only say that because I had a good friend from brazil there who told me I should try to convert my currency to theirs before purchasing diamonds, as I would receive more. Still a very expensive game compared to many others I've played, especially an OT. But I'm not trying to complain, only saying it could be a little friendlier to other nationalities =]

Lmao most anime based tibia servers are mostly BR, PL and other countries that are not based on English language. But that does not mean its not hard to speak to it. A lot of people speak English it just they rather speak their native language you just gotta work around to find those who speak English you gotta walk it like I talk it(Migos).

I remember I played not long ago Pokemon KPDO just for the fun of it and I remember I had an account from like 2011 lol the server still goes on and goes on hard with a whopping of 200+- players. It has been on for 9 years straight like fucking 9 years WTF! Pretty sure it is easy to find players who speak English as I have played it before and many people speak English even all the staff speak English. Players who don't speak English would use translator to get to the point of things. Its pretty fun community.

Should give it a try. It is a fun server to play.
