You're missing config file (named ".tibia") or it is in wrong location. It should be in your home directory.

the .tibia file is there in the home folder, I saw some people who had the same problem but I didn't see any solution but I did everything by changing it to root, could there be a problem because I did everything by root?

Not /home/ but your $HOME Root Home Directory of Linux (https://www.streetdirectory.com/travel_guide/122595/world_wide_web/root_home_directory_of_linux_.html)
It's either not there or game has no rights to read it.

hmm, sorry about that, i never used linux before.. so, the command i need to run in terminal to “send” .tibia to this location is

sudo cp .tibia /home/ root

?
