Antibot System

We now have an Antibot System that we can run manually against a player with command where for a certain time it compares events and controls the character.
We also have some other tools that make it easier for us to determine if someone is cheating.
If something is not right, automatic permanent banishment takes place.
If not, nothing happens.

12:49 Gandalf has been permanently banned.
12:49 Terminator has been permanently banned.
12:49 Szary has been permanently banned.

I understand that you are upset about getting banned, but we do not allow cheating.
Unfortunately your friends were cheating or expressing that they were going to cause damage to the server by random PKing.
We banned them when they were in the middle of doing so to avoid unnecessary damage being caused.
If you do not follow the rules, you get banned. Simple.

Our players appreciate the actions taken.

About ddosing, i suggest you maybe take a look at main page -> server info -> Skulls % auto banishment maybe something there will give you a hint about having problems with ddos from random players

Those who have been banned openly said they would kill the server by randomly PKing all players.
That is why we banned them in the middle of the act.

This only because we banned one of their friends (highest knight on the server) for cheating.
Now they are DDoS attacking our OVH server, but we are in contact with OVH who are setting up Firewalls to mitigate it all.
They demand a ransom to stop their DDoS attacks, which of course we do not intend to pay.

Despite this, we believe that our banishments were absolutely the right decision.
You do not want such destructive players on the server.

What are you on about this time?
Skulls? Are you trying to justify the player DDoS attacks?
It is not the right thing to do, even if you got "Automatically Banned" for killing too many players by the system.

Update regarding the DDoS attacks:
After many hours of work on our part, we are now blocking the majority of DDoS attacks.

Background:
For those of you who do not already know, we are totally against cheaters and had to ban some players, including two of the highest players on the server.
This resulted in outraged cheaters choosing to DDoS attack the server.
After many hours of work on our part, this is now under good control.
We have an absolutely wonderful community that has been by our side all the way.

Yesterday we had the weekly Fire Storm Event where Genevieve won.
The prize this time was a Frozen Shader for outfits.

The win is always random and is awarded automatically to the player who manages to avoid the fires that fall from the sky and is the last one standing.

What a cool server, what is sad nowadays is knowing that to have players in a large volume you need to invest a lot of money or nothing will happen.
