Update:

After the next server save, we will remove passwords for Live Casts to make them more public for all players to watch.
We will also hotfix a thing we discovered in the client to increase performance for everyone regardless of hardware.

Update and changes

The Arenas​

You can find rewards for all vocations in the Arenas now.

Other changes:

!lootmessage command been fixed.

You can now sell Golden Mugs to Wyat in Thais.

Attack runes "Great Fireball Rune" and "Avalanche Rune" were too weak have been modified to match the correct formula better.

We have updated the shop with new fun outfits and some other goodies!

Recent changes:

• Map fixes around Liberty Bay and Goroma.
• Hydras will not walk over fire fields anymore.
• All Pirates been fixed and will now act as they should.
• You can now buy "bp avalanche rune" and "bp icicle rune" from all Magic Shopkeeper NPCs.

We want to be transparent and keep you updated on what we are working on:

Right now we are working on a completely new upgrade system.
We're not done yet, but the idea is that you will be able to loot rare upgrade items that you can apply to your equipment items.
This gives players additional reason and motivation to hunt both existing items but also these new upgrade items that can improve your items.
We think that an upgrade item should be able to give a range between 1-5% depending on luck.
Then you can mix and stack different upgrades however you like.
This is completely RNG and can also fail when trying to apply upgrades.
As said, we are not ready to release this system just yet (it is in testing phase), but we can probably deliver this in a week or two if everything goes well.
We will update you when we have more information about this and everything else that we are thinking about going forward!

On our "Rules" page you will find the following information regarding "Bots" and "MC":

2. Cheating

e) "Bots", "Macros" and "Taskers" is strictly prohibited and will result in deletion of your entire account.​

f) Multi-Client is prohibited and only one character per player online is allowed. If you violate this, it will result in a banishment or deletion of the entire account.​

We want it to be fair for everyone and there's really no reason to cheat because sooner or later it will get your account penalized.

Regarding Rates in Rookgaard, we will stick to 1x because you only need to take level 8 once to get to Main and we don't want to spoil the experience for any Rookstayers who enjoy Rookgaard and choose to stay in Rookgaard.

We banned the highest levels on the server early game because of botting & macroing.

We will ban every botter so if you are planning to bot then it is not a good idea to come to our server.
But if you are looking for fair gameplay and nostalgic RPG, then this is the server for you guaranteed.

Status Update

We see that the number of players is constantly increasing and it is fun to see!
Of course, this has a lot to do with the protection we bought from Cloudflare against previous attacks that made it unplayable at times.

We are happy with all the support we have received and we are happy to hear you like the server!
Let us make Oldesta the best server!

Everything is going very well with the new Ugrading System that we have been working on for a few days now.
Hopefully we can give you a date soon for when we introduce this to the game.

Status Update

We are working on a big patch.

The patch will include new tasks, new outfits, new equipment upgrade items, Ring of Light through the shop (requested by players) and of course the new equipment upgrade system.

New Tasks
Cultists
Cultists II
Pirates
Pirates II
Bonebeasts

New Outfits for the Shop
11 new outfits for each gender.
So a total of 22 new outfits.

Ring of Light
A ring that gives you Full Light for 24 hours.
Can be purchased through the Shop.



New upgrade system
12 items with different chances to upgrade your equipment items.
More information and details about this will come later.
Also an item that will be able to remove an upgrade if you happen to get a bad roll on a rare item.



Upgrade Remover
Item that removes an existing (latest) upgrade from an item.
Good to have in case you get a worse roll on a rare item.
