Introduction:

Mythibia is a custom Open Tibia Server built on the classic Tibia 8.0 foundation, enhanced with quality-of-life features from newer versions.
The world is based on the original 8.0 real map, but improved with refined areas, reworked spawns, and planned custom expansions — both in terrain and storyline.
Whether you're a nostalgic veteran or a curious newcomer, Mythibia offers a challenging, progression-based experience where character development, gear optimization, and exploration matter.

Character Stat System – Play Your Way

Level up to receive 10 stat points — shape your character however you want: a tanky druid, a high-speed sorcerer, or a magic paladin.

Strength (Str):+0.2% Physical Damage & +0.1 Armor per point
Dexterity (Dex):-0.04% Attack Delay & +0.08% Pierce Chance per point
Intelligence (Int):+0.05% Magic Damage & +0.1% Healing Power per point
Constitution (Con):+1 Health & +0.4% Health Regen per point
Willpower (Wil):+1 Mana & +0.24% Mana Regen per point
Luck (Luck):+0.05% Loot Drop Chance & +0.04% Critical Chance per point




Vocation Changes

Sorcerer:5 HP / 25 Mana per level
Druid:5 HP / 25 Mana per level
Paladin:7 HP / 12 Mana per level
Knight:10 HP / 5 Mana per level




Loot System & Item Rarity

The item strength varies with the experience given by the monster. A sword form a Rotworm will be weaker than a sword dropped by a Dragon.

Item Drops:Items drop with 1–66 (at the time) unique attributes based on rarity
Rarity Impact:Higher rarity = higher stats (e.g., Legendary mace may have 19 atk vs 18 on Rare)
Bonuses Include:Magic or physical damage, resistances, skill bonuses, health/mana regen, and more




Runes, Potions & Shops

Runes:Crafted by players (mages produce 2 per cast), stackable for easy inventory
Potions:Also stackable for smooth inventory management
Shops:No traditional magic shop — get supplies through gameplay and cooperation




Task System – Passive Progression

Tasks complete automatically as you hunt. No micromanaging.

Example:
Kill 200 Rotworms → Receive +30% bonus EXP (+2,400 EXP)
Even non-XP mobs grant rewards, ensuring steady progression.

If you want to give input, or test things during the preproduction please feel welcome, i will be grateful.

Some notable changes from the past few days:
  • Added server benchmarking tools to better track performance
  • Fixed wands and rods not functioning as intended
  • Resolved an issue where bodies couldn’t be thrown immediately in certain situations
  • Investigated spear behavior (yup)
  • Implemented a system that scales an item’s max value based on the monster it drops from
  • Introduced rare monsters – tougher, but with bonus loot
  • Mapped out some Rookgaard spawns (just warming up for when it’s time to light up the mainland)
  • Reworked the training dummy script for more consistent behavior
  • Wands now deal more damage depending on their rarity tier
  • Party kill sharing is now fully functional and reliable
  • Added party icons to the minimap
  • Tweaked and improved the frag system
  • Increased food duration limit to one hour
  • Fixed some travel cost issues
  • Buffed light spells slightly
  • Started implementing upgraded items (not fully available yet but you can come across them)
  • Rashid – now trades from level 40 if you have PACC
  • Removed the free Hp/Mana restore on death or level-up
  • Reviewed most quests and assigned drop tiers – harder quests now give better tier loot
  • Added mild overspawn mechanics
  • Introduced "move stacks directly" option in the client
  • Made a few cosmetic improvements across the board

  • Reduced all one-handed weapons defense by 10%
  • Reduced all two-handed weapons defense by 30%
  • Increased all two-handed weapons damage by a small percentage.
  • Reduced physical damage bonus by a little bit

/resetstats - lets you reallocate your stat points
/rolltest 1000 - shows you the chances of obtaining rarity tiers
/testskills - gives you skills (depending on voc) so you dont have to waste time skilling during testing.

HP AND MP CHANGES
  • Every proffesion gets 5hp and 5mp on level up.
  • Promotion now gives better regeneration.
  • Now each proffesion gains different amount of hp/mp from stat points .
(Mages: 0.5hp per point/3.0mp per point)
(Paladins: 1.0hp per point/2.0mp per point)
(Knights: 2.0hp per point/1.0mp per point)

They get updated on profession change & promotion

Now instead of every profession being able to gain about 20 hp per level its more varying while keeping in mind that the original gains can be achieved without using all of your points. This also promotes putting points into your respective stat to reap the sweet bonuses of health and mana regen.

Dragon -> 22% for reroll, 15% for reforge.
Only one of these 2 items can drop at once, prioritizing reroll.

    • Map maintenance.
    • Postman Quest Cap is now somewhat useful.
    • Life Ring rates: (1hp/3s, 3mp/3s) - total 400hp, 1200mana in 20 min, (20hp per min, 60mp per min)
    • Ring of Healing rates: (2hp/3s, 6mp/3s) - total 300hp, 900mana in 7,5 min (40hp per min, 120mp per min)
    • Reduced the default max attribute values from random chest quests
    • Removed Sword/Axe/Club skills.
    • Added One-handed fighting.
    • Added Two-handed fighting.
    • Changed all items that give bonuses to either skill to boost their respective counterpart
    • Changed sword/axe/club rings drop to a new melee ring

    • Decreased the spawn time of all mobs to 3min 30s
    • Added a new spawn feature
      Whenever spawn is blocked, instead of waiting the full time again, wait only 30 seconds until the monster can succesfully spawn.Also, whenever a spawn was blocked for whatever reason a POFF effect will appear.

    • Revised ALL quests, and assigned them a name and max attribute limits depending on their difficulty.
    • Improvements to item attribute system.
      The attributes are now grouped, meaning a legendary item no longer can have 3 different resistances, making the rolls less "annoying" or "mushy". This can have a downside of mythic and above items having some similar rolls, but the fix to that is just adding more attributes, which is the plan anyways.

    • Added auto looting gold from corpses directly into your inventory (Only for premium players)
    • Stone of Insight now REROLLS the item, removes its attributes and applies brand new ones.

    • Changed the unidentified item shader to be a "shine" instead of some rainbowy mess
    • Improved the UX of tooltips, improved their cache and added a small delay. Also when rolling/rerolling items the tooltip will update without the need to move the mouse.
    • Improved minimap loading.
    • Improved hotkey responsiveness a little bit.

    • Removed the "Your depot contains X items" message.
    • Fixed various trap bugs.
    • Removed creature convincing (f that).
    • Lokur Dialogue fix (Postman Quest).
    • Fixed NPC Baxter (Wrong item id, and removed redundant dialogue about orcs since Yasir is in town)
    • Slime corpse no longer poisons the map forever
