Hello everyone,

We need to speak up about a serious issue we've encountered. Noro and I have been quiet for a while because we were investigating the situation before saying anything publicly. Now that we fully understand what happened, it's time to be transparent with you all.

We’re not exactly sure how Aishin has been handling things on his end, but we discovered that he has been secretly selling items and equipment behind our backs. That’s not all—he also has a character named SUNJINGWOO, which he casually mentioned to Noro yesterday, expecting him to laugh or brush it off. But just like me, Noro took it seriously—because we both care deeply about the reputation and integrity of this project.

Last night, Profesorek messaged me privately and asked why this character was dealing insane amounts of damage. That was the confirmation of what we were already suspecting. We have proof to back all of this up.

I want to sincerely apologize—both on behalf of Noro and myself. We never expected this. We started this server because we love the game. We were tired of seeing developers and owners who didn’t care about their players, and we genuinely tried our hardest to be different. We wanted to build something special. But the truth is, we can’t control Aishin anymore. He’s been speaking badly about us behind our backs, and ironically, he’s the one who’s been causing a lot of the instability. He was fixing bugs directly on the live server without any coordination, which is why there were so many crashes and restarts. I’ve tried repeatedly over the past few days to explain how a production server should be managed, but every suggestion I made was ignored.
It’s gotten out of hand.

And so, with heavy hearts, we’ve decided to shut down the server. It pains me to say this after working on this for a full year—quitting my job, investing all my time, and earning my family’s trust that this could become something meaningful. But I’d rather end it now than keep going down a road that feels dishonest and broken.Fortunately, there wasn’t a lot of money involved, as we always treated the game as non-pay-to-win. But even one dollar is valuable, and both your time and your support deserve to be respected. So, we will start issuing refunds immediately. Please be patient with us—there are already around 100 tickets open and I personally have over 30 DMs. If you’ve made a payment and want a refund, you're welcome to contact either me or Noro directly:Noro is handling PIX paymentsI’m handling PayPal and Stripe paymentsIf we don’t answer right away, that doesn’t mean we’re ignoring you. It just means we’re overwhelmed with messages and doing our best.I take full responsibility for what happened. If you need someone to blame, let it be me. Flame me, tarnish my name—I accept it. But I won’t allow this situation to continue and risk damaging the community’s trust even further. We are truly sorry.

We tried our best to build something great for this community, but this is not how a team should manage a server or a game. So this is where it ends—for now.Thank you all for the support, and once again, I hope you can understand our decision.Alex

Totally true, i'm very sorry.
Even though we disagreed on monetization, and I chose not to play, working on something and dedicated time and money to see it through, only to be backstabbed at the end by someone you thought you could trust is not something you guys or anyone else deserved.

Truth be told, I thought the amount of work was quite ambitious and thought to myself that it was too good to be true. I still hoped I was wrong and that it was a success, but it seems like there were some things that slipped through the cracks.

Good luck with your future projects, sorry to see this happen.

I agree, i faced the same situation and acted on spot before having my files scammed, i just want to kention i was there with @Antropoliz at same point on his way to perfecting rivalia and im aware he been through much more than anybody can expect, he did so much for this project and i admired the dedication and the effort he put into it, im also sure that one day he will have it in a solid state through time and consistency, issues happen and it was the first public invitation into the project. I hope the best for him and his whole team, patience isn't an option in the tibia communities but i know that people will give it another shot whenever you think its ready/stable for use. Best of luck

Despite crashes, rollbacks, and other unpleasant things, I was leveling my character without batting an eye, and it was going well. Yesterday, I spent almost a whole day on that server and it was fun for me. Today, I pulled out a 30k lootbag from fibula rotworms, which took me quite a long while and gave me a sore wrist, then I went out with my irl friends for drinks. I came back few minutes ago and what do I see? The server doesn’t exist. I hope this is a joke.

If creating a server is your hobby, the launch (with problems you can't solve/are not on you) can be overwhelming. I hope you'll find a solution that will make you happy. Good luck, and if you need to talk, you can dm me! :)

I appreciate man, we're huge admirers of DarkRest, we hope we can be up there with the big servers in the future, it's just a matter of work and time. I hope we can talk some time!
