Hello, I have a very cool Castom server with wings, auras, new items, and a shop system for points, but I can't run the OTC client because I have no equipment, -1 HP, and a black screen. I see effects like exp trainer, but not the rest. I have spr and dat and a client for this server, but I've tried many ways and haven't been able to fix it. Can anyone help me?

I have stopped editing this project and decided to share it, so I have released some datapacks for all of you! This is a Baiak map in version 8.6, featuring several interesting systems. I have downloaded TFS 1.3 and upgraded it to TFS 1.5 Nekiro. It comes with mounts and modal windows. The images are attached. If you would like to download and try it out, there are several systems, events, and mini-games included. Alternatively, you can use it as a base for your future maps. Enjoy these datapacks!

I recommend using Sarah’s base, which is 8.60—a fork of Nekiro 1.5 but more up-to-date.

If you want the most recent sprites with all 15x sprites, you can get them here and run them on your OTClient—this will solve the problem:
15x assets downgraded to 8.60 (all 8.60 sprites, outfits, items, effects)

Or you can use Marko’s base, which is also a solid option:
8.60 TFS 1.5 OTCv8 HiGHEXP 8.60 Datapack by Marko

Eu tenho uma dúvida, estou começando um server novo, exclusivamente para aprender mais sobre tfs e otserver em geral.
Na sua base, se eu utilizar esse downgrade do 15x pro 8.6 ele vai funcionar com os itens.xml?


Os ID desse downgrade fica igual ao da versao mais nova?

Você recomenda utilizar essa base da sarah que é um fork do nekiro, ao invés essa que voce compartilhou?

o objetivo é ser um baiak mesmo, e pegar uma base mais limpa igual a sua com alguns itens só pra nao ter q fazer todos do zero.

If you're just starting, I recommend using Sarah’s (MillhioreBT) base or Marko’s base because they're more updated and cleaner.
Mine is older and has some custom changes already, so it might confuse you while learning.

This has already been answered in the post. You need to add the feature_modules from OTC for 8.6.

Here You have dat and spr file from 8.60 client :

You have to download it and paste all file (3 file) and paste into otc/data/things/and here create folder named 860 and paste here downloaded files. Then try run client again

Debes descargarlo y pegar todos los archivos (3 archivos) en otc/data/things/. Aquí, crea una carpeta llamada 860 y pega los archivos descargados. Luego, intenta ejecutar el cliente nuevamente.

there are two ways to compile the nekirio tfs server (7.72 / 8.0 / 8.60).

option 1 (recommended):
you must apply my commit to the tfs 1.5 / 8.6 source. this commit migrates the project to vcpkg manifest mode, so all dependencies are downloaded automatically via vcpkg.json.

important notes:

• remove your current vcpkg installation
• install the vcpkg version described in the README
• using the latest vcpkg may break compatibility (for example, boost 2.x)
• nekirio expects older libraries, so i updated the source to be compatible with boost 1.88, which builds correctly

required commit:
Build: migrate to vcpkg manifest mode and fix Boost 1.88 compatibility · Mateuzkl/TFS-1.5-772@27d1957 (https://github.com/Mateuzkl/TFS-1.5-772/commit/27d19579e61e6783ce548a7a7f78af5f55291b99)

with this commit applied, the project will automatically detect missing dependencies, download the correct versions and compile normally in visual studio.

option 2 (legacy):
use an older vcpkg version, which does not require any source code changes.

steps:

• download vcpkg from the link below
• extract it to c:\vcpkg
• run:

cd c:\vcpkg
.\bootstrap-vcpkg.bat
.\vcpkg.exe integrate install

then open visual studio, clean the solution and build.

legacy vcpkg link:

do not use the latest vcpkg version, it will cause build errors because it pulls newer library and boost versions that are incompatible with nekirio.

if you use my commit, the source is already adjusted to work with a compatible vcpkg setup and can also compile otcv8, otacademy and other tfs forks without issues.
