After years of research and preservation work, ClassicOT has reached a decisive milestone in the history of Tibia authenticity.


Originally developed on Nostalrius, the project has now been fully ported to the real, decompiled Tibia 7.7 source code — the one meticulously reconstructed by Fusion32, including the LoginServer, QueryManager, and the official Goland-based Website.


From that genuine base, we have extended and downgraded the system to match Tibia 7.10, preserving every technical and behavioral detail of the original client-server interaction — without any OTServ, TFS.

ClassicOT is not a reimplementation.
It is a revival of the authentic Tibia 7.x architecture, restored and downgraded to 7.10 standards.


Our ecosystem consists of:

Very good idea, very best luck in making this a decent server to play! I also strongly encourage when launching not to make it "super low rate" but instead make it properly engaging rates for lack of time players. They will test the engine and mechanics and etc and will have fun all in all. After all, a trusted low exp server can be born out of this.

yeah we also managed to add exp stage system as a test server should have it :)

When you realize that a game engine from 2006 is more stable and better designed than most modern ones in 2025, it’s honestly incredible. I still can’t believe how amazed we are every day we keep discovering new compatibilities and possibilities that shouldn’t even be possible after all these years, converting every lua from our nostalrius server to the moveuse.dat it works better actually :Dmoveuse.webp

today we notice that you can kill Gamemaster summon only with Ice condition :Dgamemaster.webp
all the monsters that belog to our custom ice town Colda they all are ready, working also on the client to fix a little map click error.
 
dayyym..! that's awesome.. i started around 7.1, so it has always had a special place in my heart.. and been searching for that experience ever since.. i used to run a small 7.1 server bk in the day for me and my friends, but that was lifetimes ago now.. and lately got the idea to try dive bk into that, since i have never found a server im satisfied with.. so figured why not try create my own.. been researching on the forums here and seems nostalrius is prob best suited for me, to try make it as simple as possible.. is there a lot to be done to create a decent 7.1 server from nostalrius? im defi gna keep an eye on yo genuin 7.1 server tho, and might just end up playing that instead..xD we'll see

You are welcome to try this edition as it is the real thing, if you want to create your own server start with nostalrius as base or even the TVP, some people already tried to do what i’m doing but they run away when they can’t figure out how mechanics and system works on that version, try this server we have implemented exp stages system to test server, believe me you will feel like you are on 2003, our custom client have an option to choose retro smooth view.
 
since 2020 new meta is create OT server as close mechanics as it was back then, spend tons of time to reverse engineer and all kinds of magic. Then decide to add all kinds of custom shit like frost dragons :rolleyes:

The 7.1 map doesnt have that much to do as 7.4 basically you need to add custom shit to keep the players active, by the way i invite you to test the server, actually these custom shits have an history behind, these custom shit need missions to be accesible so you need to play alot atleast to get there.

Been in otserv since day 1 and i have to say and i will say it again there is nothing better than cipsoft server, do we have alot of modern things since we are in 2025 i know that but for what im doing this is the best distribution i had in my hands, im not a player from actual tibia not even after 7.7 since i quit tibia on 2006, all these modern engines aka tfs and all the others are just fine for those who search for orshabaal ots like tibia is atm.

Focus on highlighting what's true, eg, attention to detail of particular mechanics, but going on a rant about architecture might ruin the perception of other stuff that actually stands out.

I know that players doesnt care about architecture and nothing related to that but as a hoster i stick on my reality, what i have been doing these 6 years to maintain my official server online, now i have this opportunity to do more things with the leaked cipsoft and because the actual nostalrius engine have problems that we couldnt solve, my last option was convert everything back to tfs and tried but there was more problems.

Every single monsters attack melee not distance, wls, spearman and every other, diagonal path from players you have to push yourself also monsters, exp from summons, no run on low hp, everything that you remember from 7.1 we have it here.
