The concept of seasoning in only fortress is absolutely different than in the Tibia world. Here in OTS players play the server in the launch, do the grind for pvp and forget it waiting for the new reset. In my game I expect players to be the most active in the end of season because you fight competive for becoming the best in season.

Why players forget the servers? Because there is no legacy...

In only fortress there is seasonal highscores where players can see your legacy. See your fortress and understand your competion level. You fight and play for becoming the number one in the highscores board. Also, you cannot be competitive for indefinitive amount of time. You choose to play the season hard or relaxed. If hard then you will be playing till the end of the season, not quitting when bored or after level xx or pvp xx.

Here let me show you picture from in-game. This is why you fight for, to become the legacy. To showoff for season III TRY HARD NEWBIES that you were among the leaders.

Edit: Idk if that much I should be writing, but look another inspirational quote :D This game is not Tibia. No rules that are valid for Tibia exists in this game. This is lets say a custom game only inspired on Tibia. :)

Season II Announcement​

Hail Best Players, Long Live The New Best Players
It is been quite a long journey for the first Season. Over 2 thousand new players have participated in the Season I and tested the game, how it looks like, how it feels like and understood the atmosphere of the Only Fortress.

The Season II have started and the competitive adventure will last till the 2026-03-26. Moreover, the top 100 of players in the HighScores Season I have been rewarded with generous amount of Gems for Season II, the same reward will go for next Season III best & competitive players.

The current game stage and its content is sufficient for 4 months seasonal & competitive gameplay. However, very soon big & impactful changes will be applied to the game world!

Introducing new game interface. It is still work in progress now and could be called in a beta stage. However most of the functional stuff is done. The new user interface is more mobile friendly, better user experience and enhancing the quality in absolutely every aspect!

It has been a while since the last update however that doesn't mean no development have happened! Soon I will announce that complete refactor of the game engine have happened. What's new? Support of multi-server environment for high amount of players online in different world wide regions.

The implementation is very similar to RuneScape or any other massive online multiplayer game. You can login with the same character to the USA server or EU server, NA server and still have the same fortress, compete world wide in the highscores & attack other fortress from another server regions. This system is not a proxy, not a "game worlds" where you have character per "game world" but instead a variety of servers in different locations to play the same character.

Undoubtfully, within this changes lots of refactorings have been done, how player logins & logouts, how players attack fortresses, how highscores are calculated and etc. But all that is almost done and release to production will happen any time soon! Stay Tuned!

The multi-server system have been launched for you to test it out! Currently there is a single server in Europe but soon will establish a server in NA, Brazil. For anyone curious the game architecture looks like that. We have a core api and a core database where all players data lives in. Then we have game server api together with game server engine and a game database which is used for short-term data transfers to core database. Bonus: introduced possibility to query a highscores through all database players. Here we have 3k players and all of them are viewable and scrollable for your competitive purposes.

So far the multi-server architecture requires many challenges. Including how to properly deploy. Working now on an centralized API where you can control all the running game servers through my core API. The goal is to have easy deploying pipelines to multiple servers. When I start deploying people will be informed that 1 minute and game servers shutdown, all game servers close server, then shutdown, then deploy new deployment to all of the servers and run the servers again. Sounds easy but in reality it is some effort!1769700483969.webp
