Is Autoloot necessary in a modern day server?

I understand that Autoloot systems have pretty much become standard in every server, new or old. Whether it be purely for QoL/content reasons, or to counter botting

My question for the community is:
Has the average age of the player made us so lazy that autoloot is now a necessity in a new server?
In other words, if a server launches without autoloot, would it have a negative effect on player count/popularity?

I think so. People are lazy, and if you don't allow to use Cavebot, I think it's reasonable to allow autoloot. If you start a server without autoloot Im 90% sure people will complain about it.

Yes, either make it available to everyone, or people will end up adding it to their own bots anyway. Otherwise, youre just encouraging and rewarding cheating

I dont like having to drag every loot anymore, specially in servers that have high mob density. Altough it it really rewarding opening a corpse to find that rare item inside.
But I'd consider at least having to click the corpse, making it so that the loot instantly appears in your backpack is kinda weird IMO. but thats just me being a tibia boomer

I also don't like the idea of making the players get all the loot from the monsters they killed to their backpack directly it is better to atleast click on the corpse to get the loot.

I played without any knowledge of autolootsystems and how it works today..
(well still dont know, does it load your bp with all junk from orcs;O )

then I made autoloot just for money coins, when player has a gold pouch bag in his backpack it attach money,
Well it was awesome, i just checked if monster didn't droop any royal helmet in loot description and if it did then i
manually opened corpse had this superfeeling and took it manually, but i don't have 1000mbs on head, have slow rate

I have rookgaard where creature products and loot is limited to some 50 monsters so i made few containers that when you have them in your bp they autoloot specified loot from monster.

i think autoloot of valuables crystals, emeralds, talons, coins, gold, platinum ets is good, it really change my playing experience when i din't have to open every rat, then i even refused opening rat if it droped 1 coin

Loots not dropping meaning they go directly to the player BP (or bank)? In other words, autoloot?
I just meant autoloot is not necessary since he can think outside the box and revamp the way this system works in whatever shape or form he believes to be the best.

However, if he does something like the system tibia uses, people are going to expect the same QoL features.
