What are the best ways to secure your server?

Could someone please give a detailed guide on all the things needed to have a secure server. (safe from hacks, mysql injection etc.)

What xampp is best, good firewalls etc. Rep++ for an answer

reinstall make a mysql file on youre database shutdown serv install 1.6.6a and instal same log and all will be normal but 1.6.6a insted

Use my guide, and remove pma user. Get a decent virus scanner and a new firewall and you should be fine
