Here is my look on this situation as a newer player. I wouldn't have donated as much if I knew I could be hunted and killed inside the castle still. Part of the reason I did was because of the huge benefit donating during this event was. I enjoy pvp, but I also enjoy knowing I won't get trapped and killed in maze like spawns that are easy to get jumped in. Personally I believe they should be left alone. Even if they were pvp, only people who already donated can pvp in there, and that alone is a whole different issue players would start to complain about...Another HUGE reason that I donated for these spawns as a new player is because I get told to leave EVERYWHERE that I try to hunt. "Leave my friends are here", or "leave" or "leave or hunted" is my favorite. I am not kidding about how much threatening goes on on this server. I'm not a pussy and I won't listen to bullies but, damn does it get annoying. Seeing as I have no friends on this server to back me up I wanted a place where I didn't have to run from an angry knight and wait for him to call his friends to get dropped...
Now the only reasons I could see that it being pvp would benefit the donators are...
A) Stop the cavebotters in the spawn by letting pvp
B) Stop the players who just run around spamming their aoes in nightmares mass killing, and no respecting even the individual monsters you are killing.
Overall, I would like it to stay the same because that is what I donated for...
