I have a question about server requirements?

I should add, I do not host my own server, I rent it from a very reasonably priced company who shall remain nameless. My question was about professionally hosted servers, not a home server, I guess a home server is all down to your net speed.

I have a question about server requirements?

Well, my server has 100mbit connection, i think that's the standard for most small dedicated servers and VPSs. Or do you mean the speed of the player's connection?

I have a question about server requirements?

I was wondering what kind of server specs you'd need to support how many players. Like, for example, My OT is running TFS 1.2 on an Ubuntu VPS with 50gb HDD, 512mb RAM, and a dual core processor. How many players would that support? 100 say? What kind of server specs do you need to support...

NPC [TFS1.2] A monk who will mark your map and set your home town.

In my temples I have monks, who will mark shops and depots and things on the minimap, and if you ask them they will set your home town to the town you are in. Here is an example, Monk Brevan, who lives in Jorvik First, Brevan's XML file, goes in /data/npc/ <?xml version="1.0"...

How to make a quest, and have it show in the quest log.

I did this for TFS 1.2 It is a very simple quest! My quest is called Benji's Plans, that's what I'll show you here. First: the NPC. Make a file called Benji.xml in /data/npc/ and add this. <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <npc name="Benji" script="benji.lua" walkinterval="0"...
