Rafidea is my project of a cozy server for myself which I am developing (started on version from 2006) and playing in free time.
Here the classic feeling of 8.0 gameplay meets unique features which enhance gameplay, making it more satisfying and fun.

Custom wands&staves and bows&crossbows systems

You can join via any OTCv8 or Android OTC, but remember to replace .dat and .spr files to custom for desktop client! It is necessary to avoid debugs once new sprite occur - see more at download page).

I've played on this server for at least two editions and I can honestly recommend it, it's a very cool, non-profit project.

This is easily the best RPG OT that released this year. This custom map is fantastic, it's polished nicely with a lot of hidden secrets. System are fantastic, all items can become the foiled version of themselves with super good bonuses.
Permanent addon/outfit bonuses, just look at this god damn page https://rafidea.pl/addons.php this is just so perfect, it gives you aim and direction in your hunts.
Tasks are amazing, basic ones are non repeatable so you are forced into exploring and spawn switching. All of this is just 10/10 and Im not even lvl 100 yet, who knows what's ahead.
And on top of all of that it's 8.0 tibia version so there is a lot of nostalgia, old spells, old monsters, old items, old spell exhaust system, it works fantastic with OTCV8 client.

Small updates:

• Server's pvp type has been changed to pvp-enforced.
• Addon bonuses of spells and runes efficiency increased values from 3% to 5-6%
• Turned off stamina system

and other minor changes.

There is a small bug that prevents the exchange of equipped items in the inventory for items on the ground or in other containers that you are not carrying.
And if you'll allow me to make a suggestion, an auto-loot system would be nice.

If it comes about autoloot - proposition of it comes every ed, but I will not add it as it is too much of a retro-style "killer" addition.

As the last days of Christmas atmosphere are incoming and events are coming to an end next week, I am making some changes to ease the gameplay:

XP rates increased to:
1-150 6x
151-250 5x
251-350 4x
351+ 3x

PVP enforced stays, but protection level is now 35, however it may change later.
As most people left because of bans for cavebotting or using other forms of bots outside, I am loosening up this restriction to some extent.

I played for a while, and loosening the restrictions on cavebots doesn't seem like a good move to increase the player base. In fact, it seems to have the opposite effect, since older players kill all the new players who use cavebots while they themselves use bots 24/7, including top level players and their secondary accounts. It's a shame because overall it's a good server to pass the time.

I agree with you in bot situation. Because I cant manage block botting by giving a client with built in bot and with very limited time to supervise it, I decided it is pointless since almost everyone bot at least with auto heals/mana/spell/target etc. I am not tryharding at it, however it is painful that most people play only with bot help which for me kills all the fun of playing.
Next time proper client will discourage at least part of players from botting and will help to be more direct and ruthless with banning botters.

Because this is a totally free sandbox, people also care less if they got deleted or lose their progression here as they did not spend and lose their money.

Who's everyone botting ?

Hello!
After almost 5 months several enthusiasts still hangs around (both botting and non-botting) and I've decided to make a small update with QoL matters and adding 2nd to final boss to the game with many smaller things, pointed at Discord's changelog.

If you do not have any place to hang out and chill - this server might be everything you need for a couple of weeks! I often hear that this is a very fine server, but only lacks proper advertisement.. but this matter might not change as I do not want to spend any more money in this totally free server.

Hopefully I will find more time to set a proper guidance for newcomers, but for new one of players started a yotube channel which will be expanded in the future.
