If this is your first attempt at mapping I've to say it looks pretty decent. First thing you should do is to leave the auto-border alone, just use RAW; the borders look too squary with auto-border and it's not nice. :P Try to add the other types of grass tufts too, also hangables, stones on the...

Voted for number 2. It looks good and since the theme is jungle ruins, the lack of torches suits the piece better.

I'm looking forward to check out those pieces. For all the voters: keep in mind what's the theme about, rather than just voting for a good-looking map. The essence of the contest is to accomplish the requirements for it to succeed. :)

Some misfortunate events have been going on these days, so I haven't had time to commit to my previously announced task; I can't keep up with this contest, therefore I would like to be casted...

I didn't wanna quit, but the due-date is tomorrow and I couldn't map; had exams all week and the sickness. :( I'll map something anyways, even if it's not for the contest. :)

Sorry for the inconvenience, I don't usually leave things un-finished, but for this time I'll have to quit as well. I left the mapping for the last days, but I became ill and even though I'm feeling better, I'm not in the mood for mapping, my head aches when I look at the screen. :( Maybe next time!

I've been on exams and stuff, I'll send you the piece tomorrow. :p
