Yeah, I guess you're right. This is suppose to be divided into different areas but showing this image, makes the whole context become disjointed. I will work some more on it and show you more pics, hope you like it more then!

You shouldn't change it. If you like it this way, keep it like this. Keep the mapping up man!

i like the way you used those new sprites but i dislike the mountain, you should change the borders up imo, then itd be great ^^
 
Looks decent, some border bugs here and there. You should use some different borders under the crystals.
 
I don't like mixing that purple crystals with blue ones, it looks just weird :(
