OTServ is still very good nobody can deny that, but TFS is simply made for modern Tibia, the downgrade is good, but It's performance compared to OTServ is huge, I'm staying with OTHire unfortunately (If I was to choose modern Tibia, I would rather use TFS).
 
I prefer OTHire aswell because we need to look after the peformence instead of the fancy stuff tfs had you can modify OTHire aswell to work like tfs 1.0

I dont tend to answer stupid questions. Just look how the connection.cpp has changed, besides of using new c++ standard. Check every other file that has something to do with how the connection is handled. I dont mean any tibia related changes. You could also compare TFS 0.3/4 (they are not that old as OTServ) to 1.0, 1.0 is much faster, resources friendly and stable.

Faster and takes 34 seconds to load a real map besides using 4.4 gb without npcs, compared to my 4 seconds boot time on OTHire having 337 npcs, 224 quests, among 24k monsters spawn position randomization and etc ...

Well, mine starts from 0 (i5-4670k @ 4.4 GHz) to online in 7 seconds and its using 1.1 gb of memory, 7.7 map + liberty bay + svargrond, more than 400 npcs. Dont care about spawns, since its much more than yours, cause of new cities. Your "developer" status says pretty much all.

It's an incomplete old TFS 1.0 downgraded server, with no 7.7 support.

I rather have downgraded TFS 1.0 first, then OTServ and sell the OTHire one instead, TFS 1.0 for 7.7 just sucks.

why i hit the monsters the same as in humans ?

example:

100lvl ELDER DRUID 70 magic lvl attack monsters sds ( 500-600 ) and the same druid kill player sd ( 500-600) ? should strike the people 50% less

Example :

100lvl ELDER DRUID 70 magic lvl attack monsters sds ( 500-600 ) and the same druid kill player sd ( 250-300)

Sucks because it requires a little more work than downgrading 8.6 server - which is few hours work to make it fully downgraded?
 
When I run the server, I get error: Failed to load item 2229 (a skull)
How to fix this?
