Back from the dark.
We, AEsoft, are hosting one of the biggest events that will ever happen when it comes community involvement with the creation of Saga. This event is calling upon the potential players (or just anyone who wants to join in) to help in mapping the Land of Mythica!
What this event is exactly, is that we are letting people from the OpenTibia community to have a chance to submit a piece of mapping work (doesn't matter what size) that they would like to see appear in our project, Saga! No, we're not doing this because we're desperate to get more mapping on to the map (because we're not, we are working really fast and hard and are getting a lot done each day). Look at it as you want, but for us, this is an opportunity to get the future players (be it long term or short term players, does not matter) to pitch in their artistic minds in creating the vast Land of Mythica. This way, we can say that it is a map truly made for the players and not for showoff.
Now, if you want to partake in this event, follow the instructions below:
If you fail to follow the first the points, then you're submission will be ignored. And, to show our appreciation on behalf of the Staff of AEsoft, we will be putting up your name on our Special Thanks page, and should you play the OT when it comes up, you will be given a custom house. Further more, you will also be invited to all the future Beta Test Servers that are not public!
- If you have work to submit, send a download link through a PM or through email (my email is [email protected]) or however you want.
- Once you have done that, you have to/must post a screenshot of your work here to show the community.
- The mapping work itself has to be really well detailed. If it is not that detailed but has great potential to be good, we can finish it for you with the Author's permission.
- If you have a little story to add to your work, go right ahead and write it down!
- There is no set theme for the mapping, so do what ever you wish to map.
So now, to start it off, I will post how the minimap looks like before this event. I will then update it when it is over, which is Tuesday, June 23rd.
Thank you in advanced to all who help!
