Hey everyone, how's it going?

I wanted to discuss with you the new servers that are going to appear now with the explosion of AI.

I've been out of the loop on the market for a while, but I believe server owners must already be using AI to generate scripts, systems, and various other server tasks.

And recently I saw that AI is already producing sprites that, in my opinion, are good. As a spriter, I know that it used to take at least 4 hours to make a complete sprite with movements; today, in 20 minutes, I created 3 models until I arrived at a prompt model that does what I want...
demonss.webpI'm excited to see how quickly AI will also reshape the gaming market.

And what do you think will happen from now on?

AI today is most valuable to people who already have skills. It won’t do the entire job for you, but if you can write scripts or code, it allows you to work five times faster. If you can draw sprites, it speeds up your workflow as well. In short, AI greatly amplifies the abilities of skilled users, enabling them to achieve much more in the same amount of time.

were these generated or handmade, if so what did you use for the prompt and which ai, looks amazing

For me using Codex or Claude Code for programming is the most valuable thing we have from AI in the otserver enviroment. But, the bussiness model they use makes everthing much harder to do, due lack of credits and the necessity to invest on it. Overrall, what AI model you used to generate those sprites? They look very accurate, but I would like to see if that can generate the animated frames aswell.

AI is a tool, not the solution. Obviously a lot of people use it, they should, it helps a lot but it won't do the job for you (proper job, not be riddled with bugs, security vulnerabilities or poor performance that will make your AWS bill skyrocket).

I'd also echo the sentiment of others on how you got it to work out like this. I've tried a variety of AI (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) and they always fail to get the correct perspective or style.
