Foreword:
I open this thread because my project will be finished any soon. So i want to present my project and i would like to discuss about here its features, rates, vocation, pvp, donations etc. and take good ideas into serious consideration! The better for both of us.

Experience: 150x
Skill rate: 35x
Magic rate: 20x
Loot rate: 2.5x
Client: 10.94

Map: MINIMAP
Most of the maps are made either by me or @shirako.

A massive map with desert, snow, jungle and main continent.
Also we have an open sea and a underwater world. With 5 cities, 2 towns and loads of quests and spawns.
There is enough to explore and discover.

We do not have teleports, except a shortcut to Desert Quest and trainers.
Below temple you will find 5 spawns which are reachable by mine carts(We might want to expand this).
They are supposed to replace the common teleports you usually see.
It contains a few spawns to get some fast start.

The main city is made from scratch based on the enigma city of the known evolutions server. So people know the route at start.
For those slowpokes, we also have a npc that sells a horse
mount aside the main storyline that will guide you through the map.

Quests:
We got a lot of quests. Besides the common chest quests we also have many custom quests containing
Npc's, Levers, Puzzles, Keys etc. Also Rl quests (Annihilator, Demon oak, Inquisition, Pits of inferno)

Storyline system
The storyline system contains 3 chapters of 1 season. (Which we will expand.)
The storyline system is the main story of the server where you will be guided through maps
and make friends and foes. You will also gain a higher level / skill encountering many dangers
and adventure's. Like quests they can be done only once, but the creatures that
appear cannot be blocked/attacked or interrupted with others in some way.

No more gold farming!
After joining the boss hunters guild, which you will at the start of the storyline. You will get paid
for each creature you kill. It will be transfered to your bank account. We increased slightly the
weight of many items for cap compensation.

Meditation room
Knights and paladins won't be the only skilling vocations anymore. But as compensation we
have add a meditation room which increases your mana regeneration with a mana burn spell.

Axerang
Aside from the pick, shovel, machete or other tools you also might need an axerang too! It
ables you to switch a lever on a unreachable platform. Also it is an infinite distance weapon.

Boss system
Aside from storyline bosses, quest bosses we also have regular bosses to hunt down on.
By checking the boss hunters book you can check how many you have killed.

Please, try to not to make too many cities, or the population will be scattered across all of them and it will be seen like a low population.

That's why every character that gets created will start at the main city only. Also you can only become citizen of cities. Towns are not available.

Only down side exp rates seems like a no go to me.

overall the project looks nice, but $x gold points sounds and looks weird
i don't think it should be called "points" it just just be "Player earned x gold" (just an opinion)

Originally from tibia, it was "gold pieces", but people have interpreted it in different ways. Pieces is standard though, and sounds a bit better since 'points' in this context tends to point to a non-physical thing, a score of some sorts, etc. whilst a piece of something is an actually a physical thing. :p

You do have some point in here. Explained well logical to me. But how about if the money you receive gets deducted to the bank(which it does in here)? In the end the transfers in banks is just a change in numberic values..

I know at this point we're nitpicking, but I guess you can compare it to RL banks.
When someone transfers you money to your bank account, you don't have it physically yet, but it's sitting in your account and since you can withdraw it as a physical object whenever you want, it's still not referred to as "This guy sent me $50 points" but "This guy sent me $50".

Personally, I'd go with just "Playername has earned X gold.", no need to complicate by including either points or pieces, it's perfectly clear.
