Hello there,

is it possible to travel with your character from one to another server or does every server build its own system?
 
You cannot do that altrough it is possible to do such system.
 
Everything is connected through the internet, we are all star dust.

Share the same database with both servers and create a rule about being online on each world. Put a option on loginserver to connect to different game servers...

Each server owner has his own database (which stores character data, etc), which is private.

Usually, exp/skill gain rates vary from otserver to otserver, and it's just one of many factors that make such a system broken.
However, some hosters might allow you to transfer between their own servers, like on retail tibia.
