We didnt really change the core or game dynamics. We only implemented QoL changes to improve the feel of old school dynamics, enhance statistics, UI and game play. Consider it an extension that wont affect the game negatively.
We basically improved the visual player feed and made some annoying stuff that was dumb more easily accessible.
such as why press look to see charges or timers?
Why store money in your depot?
Why not see your blessings incase you miss one, or if you're unsure you got them to begin with?
Why should caves be pitch black? Here you go full light.
Etc..
But we wanted all of these changes to take place on one of the better protocols in Tibia, and it will be a game worth playing for both old classic players aswell as new client players.
We're most likely going to announce the beta date by the end of this week. By then we should have a better understanding of how far we are in our progress and should be able to match that with a timeline.
The anti cheat initial version that we will use also seems to be complete for tracking packets and injections. We are planning to use another 2 layers on top of this to track macro users and mc/vpn.
Charms and Bestiary is now working. It just needs a bit of tweaks and adding the monsters. If everything goes according to plan, we can lauch a beta 31 January.

Seeing as mages have the least hitpoints out of all the vocations and are actually ranged fighters the need to stand infront of a creature to attack it makes no sense and I think CipSoft realized this aswell when they made the spell ranged to not render it useless.
The spell will keep its formula for damage but will now be a ranged attack. The range of the spell will be 3 sqm and it will track target.

Even the best of servers have rubberbanding. A good example are some of the largest most well known servers out there running classic servers. You can basically feel a "teleport" or rubberbanding issue whenever you sidestep and perform a walk action instantly after, or if you get paralyzed by creatures that can stack the paralyze or continously adjust your speed. The result is just something you never get used to.
In this example, using a higher level character we test just that to show you how rubberband-free the client is. As you can see our client performs great. Sidestep has accurate delay for each speed affecting all actions, everything is in synchronization. No teleporting or rubberbanding when speedboost returns aswell as when your speed is heavily reduced. You may only see the result in this clip but this is nothing short of hardcore dedication to get it to this level. I would say it has been the most difficult task out of all of them. The amount of study, reverse engineering, watching footages, testing the actual classic client.. It has been insane. Months of work since day one to deliver you beyond perfection.

7.7 requires 4x the amount of mana almost to create runes if you compare to 7.4.
So naturally the regeneration is increased by default from 7.4 to 7.7 to maintain wands.
But we decided to go with 7.4 regeneration and 7.4 manacosts for conjuring runes while the regeneration to maintain wands is at 7.7 regeneration. There is nothing that is unclear here. I got this covered.
So yes wands/rods were removed because they would basically be useless.
Ranged strike spells is not a bad idea. What is the point of a mage to stand infront of and take damage from lets say, a cyclops? I think CipSoft saw their error here and therefor also made this edit.
The excessive player killing and a potential solution that does not lead to ban has been in my mind. I just haven't executed on it yet and a guildwar system is almost a must-have as players do like to fight and keep track of their statistics.
My opinion is that there are better solutions than banishing players for not paying house bids or for killing too many players and they are all on the developer side to prevent. We will oversee these features aswell just keep in mind its alot of details being put together for the upcoming beta. Once we see the Beta is stable. We will focus on other stuff such as balancing EK and RP and creating prevention tactics for automatic system banishments where they are not needed.

I'll later replace the empty vials, and single item stackables. But I was a bit lazy while implementing this as there's so much to do so I thought it would be a fix for later but here's a preview.

We are basically tying up the knots on some progress that have been going on for a longer time and it feels great. The website is coming along really well aswell. The aim here has been "next level" and to be unique. To provide a comfortable experience all the way through and through.
