Might I ask whats so wrong with people using it? o:

Using raw makes things look better and more detailed.

For example auto bordered water, and auto change id makes water go in many different directions when flowing. Whereas if you do raw you can make it all run one way so it looks right.

It's like the difference from flavoured water to juice.
Flavoured water works, however juice tastes better.

Auto border is a limitation while RAW isn't.

Tip, people combine both, creating the same affect as RAW. Won't look 100% like RAW but very close.
