Beds are completely useless in OT?

So I was thinking... why do people want to have beds in their houses in OT anyways? It's not like you gain anything from it, atleast not in OT (now I'm not talking about 0.0001x serious custom blabla servers, I'm talking about the servers that people plays in general, i.e. evolutions 50x rate or something similar).

So the issue I stand infront of is if whether I should insert beds or not into people's houses? What do you think, and perhaps something will evolve from this, maybe add some feature that gives you perhaps skills or whatever while you sleep?

If it gives no benefit except realism, I'd skip it, more room for deco. If someone wants a bed you could make a bed furniture package instead for them.

Suppose but to what?! Health/mana replenishment isn't needed nor is stamina. It would be stupid to gain skill advancements from it.. All i can think is have an achievment for going to bed 100 times (lazy bastard achievement)

Perhaps a new bar should be added, like Stamina. But it's called Focus Oh nvm I just got a better idea (from WoW?): When you sleep, you'll be Rested and gain more exp! ... or maybe not, i suck at ideas

It depends on what statuses your server utilizes. For example mine utilizes a custom stamina system which could be replenished via sleeping only or a server with a soul point system. It's all about what you can make your server utilize. Maybe players have an amulet with 2,000 charges that can only gain charges when sleeping?

Yeah... Maybe I should just decrease the number of 2 beds in a house to 1? Still it would be awesome to implent some kind of feature to it. I like the Charge amulet idea from Red.

useless? I dont know they are like any other deco. I think a good house should have a bed. I think it looks good if its placed righrt.

Yeah I suppose you're right vTune. And I've always liked to loggout in a bed in my house. So people can check me out while im sleeping like snorlax xD
