I think best anti-virus is your own brain, most of the time you can avoid beeing infected by THINKING what you do. And software anti-virus is just add-onn to help you.

My programs: avira free as anti-vurus and spybot as antispyware, in spybot i use "immunize" tool to block malware installing via browsers.
