You don't have to, there is an easy way to tell that server is not worth a try.

1) Random client protocol - they are using some stale engine
2) Description in orcish - that's laziness, there are tons of ways to proofread your text
3) Lack of SSL on the website - administration is happy to leak your data

These three points sum up how they are unable to tie the loose ends which are visible at a first glance, and I can assure you that there will be more

You don't have to, there is an easy way to tell that server is not worth a try.

1) Random client protocol - they are using some stale engine
