Windows combining a data pack and a distro to start a server

Hello there. I would like to use this data pack in conjunction with the TFS distro. How would one go about accomplishing this?
I have a TFS 8.6 server currently set up and able to run already. Do I simply replace the folders in my server directory with the new ones I get out of the data pack, or does it require more than that?
I have seen people mention compiling on the forums. I, however, quite naively do not know if this is a situation where compiling is necessary, or where a simple "data file swap" will do.

If the version of the datapack is the same as your server, you can just replace it. For example a TFS 0.3 datapack for a TFS 0.3.6 server. It could have a few differences that you have to change, but for the rest it should work fine.

Sweet I found a 0.4 distro, and now I am able to just replace the data folder with 0.4 material. Thanks alot!
