Deletion caused by inactivity in Tibia

Heya,
Because my very first Tibia character has been deleted due to inactivity (years ago) and I'm gonna be absent for 6months soon, I have contacted the support regarding this issue. This is the answer I have received for anyone interested:


Thank you for your request.

Accounts are deleted automatically if no character of this account has logged into the game or on the account page within a period of n months where n is equal to the level of the highest character on this account. Note, however, that accounts that have not been used for 36 months (1080 days) are going to be deleted regardless of the level of the highest character. Please note that accounts for which some Tibia service (Premium Time, sex change etc.) has been bought at least once with real money via the Webshop will not be deleted at all.

The premium part was tact on in 2006 sometime. If your account was created before the change it was still stuck on the old rules until you logged in again. (logging into the game updates account of new changes and qualifies you for accepting any eula's currently present (as you would need to accept them to download the client and/or login).

Until you realize the eula states you cannot login by any means not provided by cipsoft.
(After some searching.. the only time time it's explicitly mentioned is in the title of the document.. which can technically be recognized as part of the rule.. but they can further back it up as using 'additional software to play')
