[DevAAC] New AAC and best website for TFS 1.X

Which can be closed without changing it and I don't particularly want my male players being able to run around as a female.
That's easy to fix. Give me the proper default values for columns for male and female.

Basically the only thing I'm concerned about at this point is the outfit for each, and more specifically just the looktype, not worried about colours or anything. 128 for male, 136 for female. Realistically it would just be nice to easily change any default values for either gender. Are the starting items set in the AAC as well?

Nope, absolutely not. It's for globalevents.

@RazorBlade
Check out new version of DevAAC, I fixed it in master: https://github.com/DevelopersPL/DevAAC/commit/aa98083e7a01a74de8a545732cb839e1da2e1d88

Weird issue. Updated all the files to the latest, now my AAC won't load. Just a bar at the top that says "Loading" for eternity. I get a 404 when I try to check the errors on the link you gave
Error_zpsejvafszp.png

Edit: @Don Daniello I narrowed it down to index.html

Check your browser console. There's been a few changes, I don't know what version you used before.

I was using the latest "release" version.

Did you make any changes to index.html? The "releaase" was actually quite old. If you are using a mix of releases, you will have problems.

yeah, I saw that the release was 14 commits behind. When I tried to download a zip of the master, I got a blank white page. wasn't sure why. I didn't change anything in index.html other than updating to the latest version for the changes you just made

You can either start over and do a clean install or open a support thread in the support board, it's too complicated to solve in here.

I'll try a clean install I guess. Do you plan to do another release anytime soon? :p

When I throw everything into the appropriate directories:

Like I said, you need to open a support topic on the Support board. You can verify the latest commit is working at our test site: http://devots.dondaniello.com

You may want to mention that the OT server root needs to be in open_basedir in php.ini for those that may be on a distro with more secure defaults than Ubuntu.

Given the numerous posts about the config.lua issue, wouldn't it be prudent to give a more verbose error about the necessity of removing all the Lua comments from the config?

It may also be helpful if you actually included the error message from catch(PDOException $e) in the returned JSON. Otherwise people may waste time checking a perfectly fine MySQL config when what they really need to do is uncomment extension=pdo_mysql.so in their php.ini.
Code:
try {
    if (strpos($capsule->getConnection()->getPdo()->getAttribute(PDO::ATTR_CLIENT_VERSION), 'mysqlnd') === false)
        die('PHP PDO is using non-native MySQL extension, php-mysqlnd native extension is required. You most likely have to execute: apt-get install php5-mysqlnd');
} catch(PDOException $e) {
    http_response_code(503);
    die(json_encode(array('code' => 503, 'message' => 'Server is temporarily unavailable due to a MySQL connection problem.',
        'exception' => $e->getMessage()), JSON_PRETTY_PRINT));
}

Anyway, I managed to get this working. Kind of spartan, but I love the elegance. Know that your love for good architecture is not unappreciated.

@Lessaire Actually I've seen the error message with default config.lua - it complains about " (quotation marks) in comments. Comments are fine but comments with quotes are not, those are the ones you must remove. The error message actually says that.

@Don Daniello

That the website isen't loading any data from server, i gues somehow i'm doing something wrong. I asked 2 mates to install it both with same (No data on website) result, the used the Release version & the github download. Any ideas?
I've already used 4 fresh installs of ubuntu with no success Apache or nginx, the display the same.

Using tfs 1.2 customized. so config.lua contains extra data.
