I did not say it was active, there are some channels for few projects. People usually ask/answer, and not chill and talk. Sorry to disappoint. Also shouldn't someone considered a part of OTLand team be more polite? Well done there

Wasn’t the plan, I just had my server since 2017/06/03 so I’m not planning to abandon it. Just thought I’d let people know about. Also mine is not OTLand only related. It was created with the intention of OpenTibia in general

Why would you create/advertise another discord server with same intentions, when you have bigger one already? It will only separate otland members and make it harder to get people together.
With all of OTLand or the OpenTibia community in general on a single discord server it would be impossible to moderate it.
Some moderators are already struggling really hard with doing their job properly, that is to say cautiously and intelligently moderating, as opposed to deleting all posts/threads that "displays visible conflicts between people" without actually admitting that of course, the official highly intelligent statement always goes "read the rules" everytime, and then refusing to answer what rule in particular that was actually, seemingly or at least supposedly violated, and after a lot of dodgy and often meaningless answers basically being told "you guys were fighting, and fighting is bad", yet always allowing/refusing to ever delete or punish people who with or without reason are clearly trolling (in an unfunny destructive sense), engages in personal insults (and sometimes nothing else), etc.
In other words: feel free to act like pigs, in fact the bigger of a pig and the more you roll around in the mud and splatter it on everyone else the better!
Just don't ever "fight" or call people out when they act like pigs, because visible loud disagreements/fighting makes us look bad or feel bad maybe because we're not perfect human beings either but we like to pretend that we are, and we don't want people who disagrees with each other trying to talk shit through and possibly squash the beef in the end, no, just let them troll each other/act like pigs instead until there's just hate left and everybody with an ounce of sanity left leaves, that's the way to run a community, of course!

Anyway, multiple discord servers is good for many reasons, a few among the most obvious ones being:
1. A single server is really hard to moderate once it starts getting active, much harder than a forum.
2. Different sub-communities can get together talking specifically about the things they want to talk about rather than what others have decided that they should talk about or to otherwise keep their mouths shut.
3. Each server is able to have their own rules and system/roles etc as well, for those who are into that. Now if you don't like one server you can just move onto the next or create your own rather than leaving the whole community because you're tired of its shit.

I didn't read your entire shitpost, just scanned through because what I scanned through, wasn't worth my full attention anyway.

In reference to point 1, do you really think the Discord chat will become overly active that it cannot be moderated?
Let's be real here for a second, TibiaMMO subreddit has more active users than Otland thesedays and their Discord is well maintained.
If you look at the Otland online counter, it's not the truth, it counts for the last 24 hours iirc. And the only active sub forum here is Support.
If anything, Discord will turn into a shitshow for people asking for Support.

In reference to point 2, who cares if different sub-communities get together and speak on the Discord Chat? It's about the community and the community will answer any Open Tibia discussions with pride, since that's what that Discord is specifically for, right?

In reference to point 3, make your own private discord for your server, like you said, leave if you don't like it. Don't like the Discord channel for OTLand, then do the same thing and leave.

My opinion is that you do not enter Discord channels very often. If you do, then boy, they must suck dick. Moderation of a Discord Channel is easy enough, if you have active staff members and hire enough of them.

Otland as a whole has gone to shit, not because of the Moderators, infact, it's the total opposite. Otland went to shit because it became a support-based forum for idiots to come and demand for help for their shit download and run Open Tibia servers. Blame the leeching community, not the Moderators who tried to work around it (including Admin staff).

I have no idea why you're calling my post a shitpost or what you're talking about for the most part in your post here, I don't think you actually addressed any of my points except for kinda keeping on topic with the first point, but ok.
