I just feel that I wanna make a, as near as possibly, perfect mountain before switching to like, cities..

Do you use auto-border? If so, I strongly recommend you to start using RAW pallete. You'll see that you will get better

but I dislike those grounds you used.
You should take some wooden grounds.
I also dislike those small walls between the depot lockers.

Snow mapping offers alot of things
you could use a lot of other constructions
and combinations, for example I can't see any bush
and some things like that.
