I think the Experience Rate needs to be worked on. I understand the point of the Rebirth system and I agree with everything about it. Although I have one issue currently. The point of having Rebirths is to stop people from leveling to 5k. Although once you get to 50 rebirths you cannot rebirth anymore. Therefore the only thing to do is level. From like lvl 750 or so to 1.2k the Exp rate is 2x. As we all know, this is extremely slow but understandable. But once you get past 1.2k, the Rate drops to 1x. Now to take 15 lvls, it takes a day pratically. I get about 3 levels an hour if I powergame hard. For an OT I think this is wrong. Therefore I have thought of a solution.

Solution 1.
Unlimited Rebirths with same Exp stage. In this situation the rebirth damage must be fixed because I have heard that it is not working at the moment. This would forever stop people from leveling as high as possible because the more rebirths you get the higher your damage, hp, mana, cap and such. To go from 600-1.2k takes like 3 weeks. In 3 weeks a lvl 50 rebirth can probably rebirth like 20 times, so it would be more beneficial to just keep rebirthing.

Solution 2.
Keep max rebirths at 50.

If the player has less than 50 rebirths the Exp stage is the same. To stop low rebirths from leveling high.

If the player has the max rebirths of 50 the Exp stage either stays at 5x forever.

This is fair because the player who was able to make it to 50 rebirths will be rewarded for his efforts with a higher Exp rate at a high level. It will also give the server a chance to have certain bosses killed. As of now, there are multiple bosses which are UNKILLIABLE. For instance Pandoras box. At Exp rate 1x like i have now, No one will ever get high enough level to kill pandora's box. It just wont happen, i went out there and died in seconds while I was holding down my pot. I do have about 35k hp and 44k mana, thats a total of 79k health that was able to be taken away from be in between pots... aka an unkilliable monster.


I just feel that there needs to be a solution for people who get 50 rebirths. As it stands now, it seems like once a player gets 50 rebirths he doesnt really have a reason to keep playing. It is too log to level and the only way to level gets boring, resulting in a player quitting.

Everyone please comment on the 2 solutions and let me know what you feel would be best for the server.
 
Idk lawl i think the 50 rebirths is fine but something has to be done cause soon knights will be pging at golems and rapeing them so idk...
 
I think pallys and knights shud be lower on power, but i agree with solution 2..
 
The only reason I think it needs to be addressed is because knowing first hand, the server gets VERY boring after level 1k. Either I have killed all the bosses or the bosses are unkilliable until level 1.5k - 2k which isnt possible to get at 1x exp. There needs to be a solution because many players once rebirth 50 is achieved seem to play alot less.

It gives you the feeling that you beat the game and there is nothing else to do.
 
Yea... i wudnt kno first hand ofc cuz my higher RB'd char is 7... but i cud just imagine how boring it is cuz all u can do is lvl, and it gets worse with the exp rate >,>
 
Yeah, like its so fun right when you get there, then you get to level 1k and you can try all the quests and you realize that there are a bunch of bosses and quests that require either a large team or level 2-3k to complete and once you hit 1x exp its will just be impossible to get that high of a level. I'm just trying to find a way to keep the server fun and entertaining for even people who have finished rebirthing.
 
So finally you know what fair players feel right... you didnt complain before cause you booted all your level i think you oppinion doesnt count here pertty sure you just level like 3 rebirths in total by your own so wtf dont complain here... The exp is cool the server is what is bored look at rl 1000 times slower than here and nobody complain cause you have lots of monsters/quest and the administrators works hard to make tibia fun...

And you complain just cause you cant bot any more you are just accepting that you botted all your levels....

First of all Cyntara is not RL, and ur just complaining about that cuz ur low lvl and prob don't even go 10 rebirths, thats a lil selfish :P Let's take a look on Highscores, High Rebirthed/Leveled people:

About 2 players out of 7 are still playing and soon gonna quit, now the question is, why the others 5 quitted and are playing another ot? :P They won't waste all day for 15 lvls lol.
 
I haven't had time to read all of this. But Doggo, you gave me an idea, that I quite enjoy actually.
I think you guys will agree. But I don't want to see people above level 1.5k-2k. Monsters aren't created for that sort of difficulty. Nor shall they. Sure, a level 4k may be able to kill Vegnagun, but you're supposed to have a team for that kind of thing.

And to people like Veseble, if you continue the Dark Knight of Vanda quest, you'll surely hit 3k. Which irritates me a bit. The exp is being mal-adjusted.

I can protest for Royal that I have only caught him botting ONCE, hardly enough for the 1k+ levels he has. And regular Tibia has many people there simply because the low exp rate allows the same monsters to be difficult and exciting for a longer period of time.

Also I am deeply offended that you think my time spent making the server work on a Unix system was nothing. I dare you to do HALF the shit I had to do for this server. When you say "the update been out for weeks and no fixes!11" There is no magic wand to wave to make things change and work perfectly the first time, this stuff takes time to make perfect and bug-free. When you have 200+ people trying their damn best to break things, something will give, always. It's just a matter of taking each one and refining it so the general public won't kill things server side.

Be patient and let the people who actually know what they are doing do what they must to fix the relatively few bugs. (I honestly thought there would of been hundreds, like debugs on EVERY step).
 
I think what does server being boring is if you are knight you have to skill every tie you log in because it reset all your skills to 10 and this makes dificult to lvl if you have to be more than an hour skilling before going to hunt

That only affects those who made a character AFTER then update and BEFORE Red's adjustments.
