Forget Tibia, here comes the Settlers online

Not sure if it's already known but I found it quite funny that CipSoft is now developing an the settlers browsergame.

Anything but Tibia-like, to not compete with themselves i guess. But look at OSRS, maybe time for them to start Tibia 2 aswell or start Tibia 1 again (vanilla reboot)..

I don't know whats going on at their HQ, what their business plan is or long term game is, but its definitely interesting to see.

They are trying so hard to find another egg-basket to farm from, but why dont they just make a sick Tibia-mobile game or something, instead of this crazy bad TibiaME.

It tells me more and more that these 4 guys starting cipsoft is basically just 4 dudes starting the first OTSERVER in 1997 and they dont really know what there doing.

probably they bought this failed game at no cost
cip must stop to invest in another ip... every new game they create have the same ending

They could milk a lot with proper Tibia-like game on mobiles with some idle exping, resource management, 3match whatever TibiaME looks like game from RPG Maker made 20 years ago.

They also have that silly Persist Online zombie mmo, that looks like typical indie project on Unity. I played it 3 years ago and still there is no release date. #edit ah and they have some kind of grant for developing it.

Exactly, whats going on? With their budget and everything we can see their insane turnover they should be able to produce something interesting
