Friend cannot connect, everybody else can?

hello,

I've tried to help my friend to connect my ip, but it seems like impossible.

everyone else can do it, got like 30~ online atm, which is really weird, he has Zyxel internet box, tried already to disable the firewall and also on windows xp firewall, disabled both tested, didn't work.

Hosts file was OK, iptables OK.

i've checked my other computer and i cannot see any reasons why he cannot connect? isp is not blocking anything, we both have the same. what could it be? im using xampp for windows

Can you let him try pinging you?
And ping from you to him (than you can see both way connections are ok).

Can he get to your acc? (if you have one)

no we cannot ping each other, we both have icmp packets blocked

It seems he has more blocked than that or he got into your blocklist (firewall or something).

As said, can he reach your website?

And are you both using Windows or Linux? (or mac, bah)
