Full Custom RPG Dragon Ball Server?

Hello guys!

I'm writing here, 'cause I've got an idea on Dragon Ball server in RPG type.
This will be full custom - 100% custom map, scripts and game mode.

First of all - vocations. Only four:
Saiyan, Human, Evil, Healer

Every vocation got own "Set of outfits" which can choose on first login. For example - Sayian can choose 'Goku, Vegeta, Trunks, Raditz' outfits. Every player will start on rookgard as kid (Yes! There will be a Vegeta Kid outfit :D).

What outfit will change? Nothing, just looktype. When we made for example 8 lvl we can choose a town. After rookgard, on 'mainland' we will be normal version of looktype (Kid Vegeta -> Normal Vegeta).

On all DB ots are vocation like Goku, Vegeta etc, every got special attacks etc. On this OTS every looktype of vocation for example Saiyan could have every attack! or example doesn't matter who you are, Goku, Vegeta or Trunks you can learn Kamehameha.

At the start, every vocation will have only 4 attacks. 2 attacking, one speed or guard and healing spell.
There will be skill tree (OT Client), on every lvl you'll get a skill point. You can give a skill point for example for healing technique. After few 'power ups' healing technique you will get another, better technique of healing. As the bonus 1 skill point for special technique will give you 5-10% of power of technique.

How about another special techniques? You will learn in by making quests, tasks etc at your master. Then when you will get special technique it will be show in skill tree etc.

GOOD OR EVIL. On this server every vocation (doesn't matter you are saiyan, evil etc) can be a good or evil.
It's depending on you, which missions you will take, which tasks etc.
Here I've got a question for you. It will be OK if good can attack only evil and if neutral can attack good and evil? What do you think about it? Every mission you will take, every task will give you in percentage good or evil side. For example you are starting natural (50%). When you will take only tasks where you will kill humans, saiyans etc and you will get 75% of evil you will be evil. What do you think about it?

Reborns? NOPE.

Transforms? Yes but not like on the other server with command !transform. Depending on your lvl the looktype will be 'higher'. Goku -> Goku SSJ -> Goku SSJ2 etc automaticly. You will cannot use revert command too.

More looktypes? There will be a missions for other clothes for your looktype etc.

What do you think about my idea? Please make an opinion below :D
 
I would love to play a server like that! Don't keep it as an idea, make it real
 
I like idea about no WoDBO map Dragon Ball server.

I'm worrying about vocations that you suggested.
Saiyan and Human seems ok, but I don't like term Evil and Healer.
Healer could be Namek race which would be cool, but it should be called "Namek".
Also what is Evil vocation? You want to put Freezer, Cell and Majin Buu to one vocation? Don't like that.
My suggestion is:

Thanks for your suggestions! But if I make a freezer family I need to make Buu family too and the others ;s I want to make the first DB server with cool balanced PVP. Nameks as Healer seems better, thanks!
 
I love RPG customs. I can get atleast 10 players to play if it was a good one. I've played every RPG custom that's come out, the best of all custom servers has been the Onepiece server "world of piece". I'll tell you the thing me and my friends like and dislike most in custom servers like DBZ
Things we like:
  • Custom spells, Custom mobs, Custom weapons, Custom equipment, Custom quests
  • A huge map with lots to explore and a good variety of monsters/bosses
  • Lots of items/ rare items / cool items / not overpowered items
  • Custom systems (legendaries, enchanting gear, spellscrolls, socketing gems, e.t.c)
  • Useful spells
  • Casino :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD hehexd
  • Other uses for money besides potion
Things we dislike:
  • 9999x press one button and aoe all mobs
  • boring monsters that die in one hit, drop shit loot
  • gear that gives 9999999 regen
  • small map with bad spawns and no risk in exploring
  • money too easy and everybody has 999x of best healing/pots
  • 8.6 bot fest client, please make a custom client that will at least reduce botting. Cavebotting in custom ot's kills it quickly and burns the fun.
Suggestions:
  • Make sure the map is huge with enough content and spawns. Different spawns to explore, some could be mixed monsters, some the same mobs, some lead to bigger spawns, some just normal spawns, Multi-layered spawns e.t.c Think demons in edron. How much shit do you run through before you get to demons? you'd never know they are there unless you explore past first floor.
  • Make sure there is spells for level's and they are fun/good. Thing that keeps me playing ots the most is trying to unlock that next spell.
  • Make gear fun and useful, but not 99 regen type useful. Maybe cool passives on boss gear, and just genuine items. Maybe include set effects so people can do different builds if they loot a full set. Or just items in general. It's boring when you kill the boss in 1 spell and then have a 99 regen set.
  • Good quests, maybe a couple very very hard ones. Maybe some for outfits. Maybe lots of small ones for some gold or potions spread out through spawns. Maybe lots of kill-esque related ones, where you run through a lot of mobs to get a sick sword. I don't wanna go through 5 hours of map content and the only quest i found was for 10k. that shit is boring. If i find a sick spawn with a quest door, i'll always look forward to doing it.
  • Balanced vocations - Not PvP-balanced, but just overall balanced. I don't wanna see a class spamming his level 10 aoe on level 60 mobs doing 900 damage, then wiping teams out in PvP also. Each class should be balanced against something. Maybe a good tank but lacks pvp damage, or a good tank with damage but lacks healing, e.t.c.
  • Most of all, just a fun server. the most basic way to have a FUN server is lots of shit to explore, lots of spells to unlock, and lots of shit to do. i'd rather have an unbalanced ot that gets updates with tons of shit to do then a perfectly balanced ot with 5 hours of content and nothing to do after.
these are just my thoughts on the matter. i've been playing ots for like 13 years though, so you should take a lot of them into consideration.
