This dithering is so good. I was never able to visualize what pixel (color) where to place. Like these "random" darker pixels mixed with lighter on the hat. Does it come naturally to you or is this like trial and error process?

well, nowdays kinddas come automatically, i just do some sketchs, try some forms then i polish it, i tried make more colors but looks kindda old fashioned, but you can check some of my work progress in my videos, i love to watch other artist wip also so i frequentely record. Unfortunelly i didnt recorded that guy
