I don`t see a problem at all, it's all like it should be when you use the vanilla client. You're probably used to OTClient, in which indeed creatures walk smoothly over all surfaces.

Check if slow monsters are walking this way, if so you're having issues with stepduration (most likely calculated wrongly, I thought Peonso fixed this already though)

If you look closely, the dwarves are dashing the last part of their steps. It would probably be easier to see if tested on let's say a rotworm (or just a slower creature)
